Unit 1804 at Kanaloa at Kona is a terrific location - just a short drive to the action in Kailua-Kona, but quiet and isolated enough to enjoy the peace and quiet that Keauhou offers. I would definitely recommend this ocean front condo - besides the outstanding view with no neighbors beside you that you can see, the condo itself has...

My husband and I just returned from a 10 day stay at the Outrigger Kanaloa at Kona which we booked through our AAA travel agent with Pleasant Holidays. We had a decent 2nd floor one bedroom unit with ocean view. There was no a/c available with this unit, and had we known how noisy many nights would be, the a/c...

We just returned from 8 nights at Kanaloa Kona. It is a beautiful property but there are problems. We would not book directly with Outrigger again for several reasons. One, when we arrived we spent about an hour trying to find a nice unit. The first two condos we looked at were ugly and dated. Finally, tired of looking &...

We stayed there for a week. The condo is huge, very well equipped and decorated. The terrace is awesome. Never seen such a condo!!! Everything was perfect and we really felt like at home. Jim, the owner was very helpful and left in the condo tons of precious information on the area. It is located in a very calm area...

We stayed at the Kanaloa during our first visit to Kona over Christmas in 2008. Our expectations were high (based on reviews), and were even exceeded in terms of the beautiful location and excellent service. The rooms/ condos, however, were quite disappointing. Our first unit was obviously dirty, had extremely outdated decor, and several coackroaches throughout. The Management kindly changed...

Condo hotels that are individually owned and more than a few years old are way too risky. Pricing based on layout not condition of the unit is not consumer friendly. Please beware and request a unit that has had good reviews. We saw 5 absolute shockers, dirty and old carpets, very dated kitchens, bathrooms etc. The housekeeping and front desk...

Kanaloa is a terrific location - just a short drive to the action in Kailua-Kona, but quiet and isolated enough to enjoy the peace and quiet that Keauhou offers to returning guests and locals alike. Our family of four enjoyed an ocean front 2 bedroom, 2 bath with a loft - plenty of room for everyone to have their own...

Stayed at the Kanaloa at Kona for 2 nights at the end of October 2008 in a 1 bedroom-2 bath condo. The condo was beautiful, comfortable and had a nice ocean view. There were 2 lanais, one facing the ocean off the living room. The other, off the bedroom, faced the parking lot. The living room was so comfortable--I felt...

Scot and I have stayed at a lot of condos throughout our travels. After speaking to Debra, the owner, we looked at the photos on-line, thought they were wonderful and we booked with her. How many times can you say that the reality outdid your expectations? The condo's lanai in front of the living room looks out upon two beautiful...

Let me preface my review by stating that we were originally booked to stay in the Outrigger Royal Sea Cliff but they overbooked and sent us here. The staff at the Royal Sea Cliff really played up this resort by saying it was more scenic, the condos were much nicer and there was a great restaurant on property. Clearly, they...
