My only regret about our stay at Hotel Life was that we didn't book a few more nights. We stayed for three nights in a family suite (one room with a double bed and two single sofas beds for the kids) and had a great time. The hotel is clean, fresh and modern with around 15 rooms in total so it never felt 'busy' even though it was fully booked. The location of the hotel is a place called Zečevo which is about 2.5km outside of Rogoznica. It is a tiny place but that's what we loved about it. We only had to walk across a quiet road to access the pebbly beach and the little shack that is the beach bar. It had everything we needed and was peaceful. You can hire SUP boards and kayaks in the village if you fancy getting out on the waves. The outdoor heated pool (fresh water 😊) isn't the biggest but we all loved it. It was great for a splash about and there is a shower and a few sun loungers for you to use. The indoor pool isn't heated but that was fine. The spa and wellness area is lovely if you want to relax and enjoy a treatment or two. The restaurant, food, bar and service was fantastic. Antonia, who managed the front of house, was exceptional. The welcome and level of care she gives to her guests exceeds the level of any other hotel I have stayed in. A really lovely place to enjoy a peaceful, relaxing holiday.

The hotel is located on the outskirts of the beautiful marine town of Rogoznica, some 2 km away from the centre. It opened in 2012 and is thus in an overall good condition with large, clean rooms and spotless bathrooms. It is not directly located on the beach since you have to cross a road to get there but the small pull lic beach has deck chairs and is good for swimming. Since design is always a matter of perspective I can only say that for me the interior was a bit too fancy. Rooms are very good sound proofed and have a solid air condition. There is a spa area with sauna (included) and optional massages and an indoor pool. Furthermore, on the tiny terrace there is an outdoor pool with 4 deck chairs, but you'll be swimming right among people sitting at the coffee or breakfast tables, since it's such a small outdoor area. Staff is super friendly. Breakfast is well sorted but you need to know that you can order a decent coffee from the bar for free. The one from the machine is not recommended. On the downside you ask yourself what a boutique hotel like this is doing in that location. I mean, we came in September and the area around it was already dead. There are only apartmani there (finished and about to be build) and nothing else. I wonder who stays at the hotel when  it's cold enough to actually need the sauna. The hotel has a restaurant but for anything else you need to go to Rogoznica centre. They have a free car park at on the back but the road to it is super tiny. Behind the hotel there is an apartmani construction site that adds to the feeling that the hotel is somewhat misplaced. They try hard to generate a luxury feeling about the hotel but it just didn't work for me. However, thinking of themself as the new "hit destination" on the dalmatian coast, the have quite bold prices. Like everywhere in Croatia these days prices skyrocket,  but at least here they try to offer you a decent service for your money. Many other places in Croatia just raise prices without improving anything. So Hotel Life is above the average.

Two couples in our group stayed for two nights at this gem of a hotel. The rooms were large, bright, clean and had great views. The food was excellent for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The beach within 25 meters of the hotel is stony but the water was clear, clean and warm. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Smart looking small hotel, but when we visited for lunch the dining room wasn’t open and nothing was available. We looked at a room which was spacious with modern decor but the shower was over the bath, which is inconvenient, so we chose not to stay. Coffee was poor also. Beautiful sea view from the room.
