The apartment is spacious and well equipped, with great views of the harbour. Ivo and Fikreta are excellent and generous hosts, providing interesting conversation, freshly laid eggs, free grappa and homemade marmelade! We had an excellent family holiday, with our 2 year old.

We stayed with the Mihajlovic family last summer and returned again this summer for another lovely stay. The apartments and the garden are well kept and it is still a real pleasure to stay here. This time we stayed in the slightly smaller apartment (Dino). There was enough room for our family (with two children) and you get a bonus sea view from the bathroom in this apartment. The host family is very welcoming and friendly. We will most definately be back!

My wife and I stayed here for the second week of our honeymoon after a week in a Dubrovnik hotel. We were met from the ferry by Ivo and his golf-buggy (no cars on Lopud) and were very impressed on first seeing the apartment. It's a good size for two people, well presented and nicely furnished. The view across the island from the balcony is stunning. The owners were very friendly and brought fresh fruit (figs, plums, grapes) to our room most days. Lopud is a very peaceful and relaxing place to stay.
Having eaten out every night in Dubrovnik, we were getting a bit tired of the high prices and often average food of some of the restaurants there. It was nice to be able to cook for ourselves in the small kitchen. If you're planning on self-catering, I'd recommend doing a good shop at the supermarket near the ferry port in Dubrovnik before heading to Lopud. There is a small grocery store on the island, and a woman selling fruit by the harbour, but for most things you need to go to the mainland. The kitchen only has a small electric hob (two rings), but we managed to cook spag bol and spanish omlette. If you don't fancy cooking, then Peggy's restaurant 200yds from the apartment was the best place we ate in two weeks in Dubrovnik and Lopud.

My wife, 22-month-old son, and I spent a wonderful week on Lopud in late May 2014. Our short vacation was all the more memorable thanks to the superb accommodation we had at Apartments Mihajlovic. Apartment BETI was just what we needed: plenty of space, quiet, well furnished with modern fittings, immaculately clean, and with a large balcony providing amazing views of the bay. Apartments Mihajlovic's location is ideal, just a five-minute walk to the ferry and to the promenade. Ivo and Fikreta are very generous and gracious hosts who went out of their way to make our stay memorable--their personal touch made all the difference. We thoroughly enjoyed their company. I can unreservedly recommend Apartments Mihajlovic -- we will definitely return. Mark, Vienna, Austria.

If you want lazy days and good sleep in night this is the place to visit! an island with no cars or discotek! Pure relacsation! Nice apartments and nice view from the terasses, even the little room on Fikreta and Ivos own terrasse is very nice and we loved to stay there last year (2009), then we got very good contact with F. and I. If you like to hike you can walk around the island. And you also have a sandybeach on the opposite side of Lopod. We recommend to visit Lopod and onlt 30 min. with boat from Dubrovnik. Just on our way home after a fantastic stay here! Since the moment we arrived everything was super! We were met at the port and taken to the apartment - everything was clean and fresh! Nice cold drink and fresh fruit on arrival. Family are lovely people and helped us with info and local knowledge. Apartment was great - super view, air con and a great base. Hot tub was a treat and the place is 5 mins from the beach - excellent!
Highly recommend

This is the place to stay!
High quality place, lovely hosts, unbeatable views!
We had the best welcome, and every so often, the hosts would leave produce from their garden in our kitchen, all of which was delicious.
The balcony offers sunset sea views, and it's a stones throw to the beach!
The Jacuzzi doesn't have a heating element, so it'll be a relief in July in 35 degree heat! There's also local tortoises to appreciate.
We'll be back!

We did not stay in these appartments, but we were lucky enough to run into the host when we missed the last ferry going back to Dubrovnik from Lopud. The host was a very friendly man and helped us out even though this was not his duty which shows how accommodating he is. Great service!
