It was amazing the mobile houses are great and very clean. We even got gift when we got in. The beaches are nice andfod is very yummy. You have place for camping or renting mobile houses. Mobile houses have everything you need. People come here from all over the world. I recommend it.
We'we been in Croatia for 3 weeks and it's a wonderful country. The first two weeks we rented an apartment and the last week a mobilehome here at camp porto sole. The apartment was wonderful and only half the price of the mobile home. When we arrived at Porto sole, after check-in time, the mobilehome wasn't ready. We were just told to wait, and they couldn't tell us how long the wait would be. No little gesture, just a phrase that was repeated many times: we know it's not okay, but we can't do anything to help you. Almost nothing is included in the price, everything is at extra cost, sunbeds by the pool etc. The mobilehome is nice and clean, which is the most positive thing to say about the site. So our recommendation is to visit Croatia, but don't visit Camp Porto Sole.
Campsite Porto Sole is a great place to spend your vacation. Is a relaxed place, beach is beautiful, staff is always there in case you need some help. Our stayed this weekend was great, we really loved the Superior mobile house and the location, we were 1 minute or less from the beach. I highly recommend this place for family with kids. Is our fourth or fifth time here and we love it. Thank you for everything! Strkonjic - Lopez Family
A potentially nice camp site open all year, which is rare in Croatia. Nice beach. Only one toilet block open. Pitches are quite small and sometimes with tricky access, sharp corners and steep paths. Why do guests have to pay sort of sign-in fee at arrival? One does get a feeling they try to rip you off a bit when there's a chance. Prices go up every year, but I couldn't notice any improvement for guests. They're making places for more mobile homes, so whilst we were there it was very noisy and muddy at one part of the camp. So, it looks like another camp is turning into an urban place. "Goodbye nature, hello plastic and concrete" seems to be new Croatian motto.
We've spend during 2019 almost 3 months here...starting in early March at mobile home, spend 5 weeks with our caravan in July and since than ones per month...last time Halloween. Personnel from Reception are very friendly and helpfull. Bathrooms clean and mantain clean. Prices at the vegetable shop are a little bit higher but the bakery is the best...addiction developped for breakfast 😉. Camping have decent sized pitches. As a recommendation: choose places at the smallest area during non summer - they have more sun and not so crowdy. For summer choose places from the big area...at least this is how we choosed. Also, highly recommended for New Year Eve!!! They organize nice surprises, the same for Halloween. One point need to be improved: the offer for Vrsar train posted at Reception was not applied as no discount for 2 ways trip....is better not to have the offer posted. Otherwise, very good.We will for sure be back…
I have traveled quite a lot and I have never seen a camping site with prices so outrageously high. Even if you go outside all the grocery stores are on the same price range. They must have a special card for locals, no other reasons to explain how people can afford living around here. Never again in Istria!!!
The campsite is partly located in a small bay and partly away from the sea. In summer trees spend the necessary shade. The staff is friendly, the washrooms and toilets are clean and the price is reasonable.
Great camp with lots to do. Walked to Vrsar most days as only 900m’s away. That was good exercise. Nice to have a small village so close. Went up church tower, views are great and only 15 Kuna. Tents were great with lots of room. There was a huge thunder storm one night and the tent stood up well in heavy rain. Bike hire for duration of your stay is recommended from somewhere outside of the camp to get a cheaper rate. Load up on groceries outside of camp as expensive inside camp grounds.
This camp in off the beaten track and tucked away in the most magical trees behind the town. As far as Croatian camps go it is more rustic and has a natural park feel to it. Although busy is chilled and quiet. Has very good entertainment which the kids loved. Also lots of activity for kids. We got a last minute deal with ROAN camping ⛺️ Would come back and recommend to families wanting a cost effective chilled and safe camping holiday.
It was three days Easter offer from campsite. Everything was fine, the weather, camp was pretty full, toilets was very clean...so perfect prolonged weekend for my children, my dog and me, first time using a new Camplet tent trailer. Thanks again
