The hotel is very nice and clean, excellent location. The restaurant is also very good. The pool is also pretty clean, but there is a big drawback that it is not heated, making it colder than the sea. The beach is beautiful and varied, the sea is beautiful. Please heat the pool!!!

Hotel renoviran i moderan. More je isto dugo, jako plitko.
*********************************
This is the hotel you want to return to. Warm atmosphere, hospitality, incredibly good food, staff that really makes you feel welcome, warm sea, peace, surroundings ... Everything is great. Rooms very clean. Hotel renovated and modern. Everything is on high level. I don't know why the last review here is from 2 years ago, but this hotel really deserves 4 stars. We will definitely be back again. It's great for children, because all pools are not over 1.3 m depth, so children are safe for that matter. The sea is also long, very shallow. A lot of things are also adapted to people with disabilities, as well as the entrance to the sea. Of course, there are smaller things that someone would probably rate as negative, but I think that these little things, which are really irrelevant, and would overshadow the good impression that this place has left on us.

I state that a family holiday here is always recommended but compared to last year we found it dropped: first of all the buffet, what was the highlight illustrated in my previous five-star review, was no longer as inviting as the previous time. Let's say that at the sight nothing attracted you even if then the taste was still acceptable. As for the reception staff, even here as last year we found a certain coolness and speed. This year, however, the rest of the staff did not excite us. Unsmiling, unfriendly and often listless. Also practically no one spoke Italian but the strange thing is that many did not even understand English so communicating was a bit absurd in the sense that you speak and they stare at the void. One morning at breakfast I asked the waiter to clear the table of previous guests and prepare ours: he changed dishes and cutlery and left the dirty, stained tablecloth, crumbs on the table and chairs. I was shocked I cleaned it myself because he didn't understand anyway. To the guests next to us instead, he redone the table cleaning everything. It is difficult to understand if there have been misunderstandings with the English language or simply if he uses to clean a yes and no table... As for the prices are always very good, both for the stay and for the bar service. The only absurd note is the 0.75 bottle of water at dinner for €4.30, a real exaggeration that you do not expect given the relatively low prices of everything else. The room this year was really small, probably last year even though I had booked the same type, I had had an upgrade. Really tiny bathroom and view more than park I would say at the back of the shop and on the internal facade of the hotel that appeared discolored, stained and not impeccable as the previous time. Even the common areas I found a little less tidy and less clean than last year. A little 'we were sorry because the standard has dropped however definitely this hotel recommend it because it is a quiet place, where you are good and nothing is missing, children have fun thanks to the various attractions dedicated to them, there is entertainment and there are shows for adults. Great view and super location. We went back because last year it was all wow, now after this last experience I don’t know if I would go back. I could imagine that maintaining such a high level was difficult but deep down I hoped. Let’s say that from a “super” experience this year we are down to a “nice” experience.

I had another wonderful summer at SIPAR. Great staff, beautiful accommodation, a quiet hotel and its perfect location on the beach, very tasty food, all this is the reason why I always go here for 2 weeks a year to relax and recharge. This year again for a week in June and the beginning of July and August, and I'm really looking forward to it. Dagmar Klimčáková, Klášterec nad Ohří

Hotel 4 Stars? Perhaps, but being frequented by groups of pensioners and families of German workers who probably purchase packages from tour operators at low prices, the stay is greatly affected. Apart from their misleading portal which first asks you the age of your children with a slider from 0 to 18 years and presents you with a quote. If it's okay with you, continue and don't wait too long as he will then ask you again the age of the children which cannot be more than 12 years old... I went ahead and confirmed the first estimated price, also because I hadn't seen the second line written in small print and then they disputed the booking confirmation and asked me for the price difference... if you do a software thing badly, you have to pay the consequences and not make the customer pay them! Have you ever seen a booking portal that asks the child's age twice? Not me... however, apart from this misunderstanding, I advise you to look elsewhere because in this complex which includes hotels of two types, more or less recent, bungalows, villas etc. the crowding and confusion of internal guests (and I fear also external guests who come to occupy the beaches along the property) is notable.

We stayed in this hotel as a family during spring 2023 (March) a couple of nights on full board basis. Pool was closed during this period, so cannot comment about that. Hotel offers private parking which was great, location is right on the beach of Stella Maris and close to everything. Rooms were quite basic, but clean, nice balcony with a beautiful sea view. Food was delicious, all meals great. Staff helpful and kind. I would definetely recommend this hotel.

It is a beachside hotel, with a lovely promenade. The staff is friendly. Our room was spacious, clean, good bathroom with a walk in shower.
But there are some things that bothered us. There was not enough sunbads and parasols for all the guests. The showers on the beach are not working properly, just one cabin for changing clothes.
Breakfast and dinner were just Ok, but not a big selection.

We stayed for a few days in the middle of July. It's a lovely modern and beachside hotel. I would just say that this is a lovely and ideal place for our family vacation. The room is always clean, great facilities, the kids club was superb, friendly staff especially the sport staff who always help us to get sun lounger. Our son enjoyed the pool as it's not too deep. Breakfast was good, but dinner was a bit tasteless for us. Overall great place to stay!

We stayed in this hotel for a weekend and were very satisfied overall!

Modern, stylish hotel, perfect location right by the sea and on a beautiful beach promenade, tennis court on site, very tidy and well-maintained rooms, lobby and dining room!

Extremely friendly staff, particularly to our children, very nice and accommodating, quick and helpful.

My negative points: the food/buffet... I've been to many other hotels in this category and this one is average! If I get trout and cod as a fish dish in Croatia, I don't know if I really want that... Breakfast is also OK, but not outstanding...

Conclusion: for me it's a sports and/or children's hotel (great options with pools and playground) but not a gourmet or romantic hotel... but as such it is recommended!

We stayed in a premium family room with balcony and sea view.

View is quite obscured by trees which is unfortunate however we could still see the sea and it was very pleasant.

The rooms are modern and very clean, basic but perfectly fine. Bathroom also.

The pool area was very nice.

Food and drinks were good with plenty of choice at the evening (half board buffet) and at breakfast.

Had no problem parking.

Hi, we visited in September, so I cannot comment on the availability in June. The entertainment in September was very low profile and more background music. However, there are lots of options available close at hand for guests to enjoy within the complex. Hope this helps.

Hi, there is some entertainment but not the greatest. There are a few places nearby that would be better to visit or take a walk to the old town.

Do the rooms have a kettle, for making tea and coffee
Answer from Davethetraveller47

Hi, there was no kettle in the room. There are several small food and drink stalls nearby for lunch. If you walk around the bay for about 300 metres there are some bars. The hotel sells drinks but are a bit pricey. If you walk around the marina to the old town there are plenty of places to eat and drink. About half an hour leisurely walk but nice and flat! Hope this helps.
