It was our first holiday as a family with our one year old daughter. The resort is nice, villas a bit old schools, could do some refurbishment but after all it was enjoyable stay. We had self catering, we didn’t use any restaurant at the resort so can’t say anything about them. It was after high season and because of corona not many people so it was nice, quiet. Staff friendly.

I did visit this place with a family by the end of August and I can tell you it is not worth the money they ask for. Let me summarise: Staff: except the restaurant ( I will provide comments later) it was nice and friendly, so for me positive Accommodation: nice but too old, needs refurbishment. the equipment is damaged and they do not seem to care about repairing. for the price you pay, I would expect they care about the quality. Unfortunately this is the last they care about Area and location: despite it is quite large resort it is quite nice. Unfortunately, again the children attractions are damaged and sometimes dangerous. Restaurant: this was the worst experience I ever had. Food quality was very low. The overall organisation of dinner was so bad that you could have easily spend 40 minutes in the queue. They do not offer even a water and when I brought mine they were extremely rude. We decided to cancel dinners after two tries. Visiting restaurants was the best decision we could have made. Summary: I believe for the money you pay you can get significantly better services and quality. Last year we were in Plava Laguna in Porec, and it was like heaven and hell. Despite the resort has a similar name the quality differs tremendously.

This was our second time here after 6 years. Yes, the place looks a bit older and it would be nice that they do many small repairs and refreshments. But simply the setup and the concept of this complex is perfect for me. First of all I would like to underline that management was very nice by giving me the exact villa that I have asked for during the booking process. They don't guaranty that you will get it, but in this case we got the one on a perfect location for us. It was a two bedroom villa. We thought we need it because boys are bigger now, but to be honest, one bedroom villa is also quite OK for 2 adults and 2 kids. We had 2 bathrooms which I liked a lot. And locations of bigger villas are better. Resort is closed and your kids can play everywhere. There are two open pools and one indoor pool that we used during the hottest hours when you should not be exposed to sun. A lot of entertainment for kids is all around: mini clubs, evening shows, water park, different sports, adventure park just across the street... Restaurant for breakfast and dinner is perfect: great fresh food with many selections. It was absolutely good decision to pay for half board. Yes, Istria has many good restaurants but they are also very expensive. And this was good food for decent money. We will come here again. I just hope that the change of management (it's not Melia anymore) will not influence the quality in the negative way. The only remark that I have is actually the price. This is great place, but prices are simply too high. It's not new place any more. It's comfortable but it's not a luxury. So, 20% lower prices would be more realistic.

The “hotel” or “resort”, or a “camping site” not to sure to which category exactly this belongs to yet is not bad. Its definitely a family place and not really recommend for couples, as it is very loud and children running around everywhere. The villa it self is not bad, clean and has a nice terrace. The staff is friendly and does answer questions and offer assistance. Now, things to keep in mind: The beaches do not offer any towels, please make sure you bring your own. No coffee machines available in the regular villas, not too sure about the other ones. The room and the bathroom is clean; however, does need updating and refurbishing. The villa does not have a television in the bedroom, only in the living room. The furniture is old and does needs updating as well. The safe deposit box is very small and will not fit a standard size laptop. The two air conditioning units are very loud. Please try to avoid getting the half board as then you will be limited to only one restaurant (there are a total of four? restaurants on the property which you have to pay for if you would like to use) The buffet restaurant is only open from 0700-1000 for breakfast and from 1900-2100 for dinner. You can imagine how many people try to squeeze in within this short timeframe. The food offered in the buffet is not the best and waiting in line to get to the food does take a little time. The nice thing is that you have three or four beaches that do belong to the property, so finding a quiet corner is manageable. Would I recommend this resort? If you are traveling with kids, absolutely so. If you are traveling as a couple, probably not. For 270 Euros a night, we would expect something a little different, beach towels and a coffee machine in the villa for sure. For some reason this resort reminds me of a camping site (which is not necessarily a bad thing)
