The Delfin hotel occupies a superb location in Zelena Resort, just outside Poreč, on its own verdant peninsula offering ample shade and protection from the sun along a strip of beaches of all kinds. There are plenty of refreshment stalls selling fruit and snacks along the beach, as well as a restaurant, so you can stay there all day if you like. If you'd like to explore nearby picturesque coves or go into town along the seaside promenade, hop on a bike or rent a boat. Rooms are snug and well kept, with comfortable beds. Most have balconies that offer nice views of the surrounding area and the islands in the distance. Sunsets are amazing, bathing your room in orange gold. Rooms are cozy with no frills, but work well and offer great views of the sea horizon and the well-kept hotel grounds. There are three restaurants within the hotel, as well as several bars, so you can choose what suits you best. If you like night swimming, Hotel Delfin is the one to book, as it offers this kind

Stayed here for 9 nights with my two children age 10 and 14. I was very aware of small rooms and no air con but these really are so very small and an absolute sauna for 3 people to comfortably live in! No fans provided. Everyone slept with balcony doors open although never any breeze. Clean towels every day however they make your beds giving the impression they are changing sheets but they do not!! I know this as kids spilt drink on both their beds and cleaners just kept flipping sheets when we left them visible in mornings to change them. The staff were by no means hospitable towards us English and I’m pretty sure we were only English people for miles and miles! This area is swamped by Germans who are incredibly rude and do not stop staring you out all day long absolute misery they are! However they seemed to get great treatment from the bar staff at hotel and on pretty much every occasion I got ignored when wanting to order a drink at pool bar when it was table service at night .. they also seem to change prices on drinks too it just all felt like they were trying mug me off! When I tried to question this they were just so rude so needless to say we didn’t spend any more time at hotel day or night! The barman in cocktail bar upstairs is more happy to serve you but that’s if you want to sit inside as it’s a bit far from pool etc to keep coming and going. The swimming pool is way too salty it burns your eyes! Dirty rim around whole pool and only 50 odd sunbeds for a hotel that has 700 plus rooms it’s nuts! Obviously the Germans claimed all them at 4am lol. Entertainment seemed to be just same band every night much louder than needed too! Really quite boring and not my cup of tea. Seagulls!! Wow never heard such a racket!! They wake you up crack of dawn then soon after it seems the whole hotel decides to do the same!! If you want a lay in this isn’t the place for you! We were up and eating breakfast by 8.30am which can’t say has ever happened on holiday before. Checking out I didn’t get a thanks for staying how was your stay all them things nothing just thanks goodbye! Checking in was same too well got greeted with ‘check in isn’t until 2pm’ no welcome nothing and had to ask if anywhere to store cases until then. Positives has to be location on the beach front, although ten flights stairs back up to room, food is alright with plenty choice but repetitive. Best person in that hotel who always had a smile and provided me with much needed paracetamol was Carla the pretty red haired lady on reception :) No pharmacy for 3 miles so take a good supply of tablets!! Don’t sell them in shops. Little kids pool area and splash park looked good sure little ones love that! Water much better there not way too salty like main pool. Stunning area, amazing sunsets shame people let it down. Porec is beautiful and bit more friendly but pretty pricey for food etc. Oh and watch out for jellyfish!! Put the kids off and me as I got stung. See some much more scarier ones on our last day so be careful in this area. We have travelled a lot and stayed in many hotels and this was really not a good experience so we will not be returning.

Just awful. When you enter the hotel, you get the feeling you arrived in a sanatorium or a comunist era retirement home. We tried to check-in and the lady at the reception told is that if we waited 30 mins, she would have a room with one double bed for us. After halfanhour, we talked to another receptionist who said the room we have booked, has no option of double bed and we will have two single beds (waiting just became totally pointless). Our room was at the ground floor. Or let me correct - half BELOW THE GROUND FLOOR. No balcony, no aircondition. When arrived to this floor lever, a stench of mold hit our noses. Room size made it hard for 2 adults to move without bumping into each other. Humidity and heat was impossible to get rid off as even when you open the window - there is ground outside reaching until half of it. Beds that remember Yugoslavia for sure. There was NO TOILET PAPER in the room, we had to ask for it in the reception. Breakfast was not as bad as the rest honestly, but imagine THOUSANDS of people fighting for one basket of pastries. Most of products were savoury, only once in a while a basket of croissants was brought, that was emptied in less than 30 seconds. All of this, for modest 120€ a night.

The hotel is right at the beach. It met the expectations for a 2 * hotel. The staff is friendly. The rooms are very small but practical. The bed was comfortable. The hotel has a bad WIFI signal, and the rooms do not have it at all. There is no hairdryer in the bathroom.

Lots of positives for this hotel but my favourite is the location! Stunning views from all over the hotel and only 50 m from beach. It is also clean( room cleaned and towel changed daily), the staff are all helpful and friendly and I enjoyed breakfast, especially freshly baked pastries and croissants. The room I had , which was a single room , was modern although small but was sufficient for my needs with sea view. My only negative was sometimes the evening meal, although I could usually find something I liked as I’m not fussy, the choices were a little unusual for my English taste... but all in all a good value holiday especially as they also did lots of activities including Aqua fit, yoga and evening entertainment daily! Would recommend x

I stayed in a hotel for a weekend with my husband and a dog. We booked the room 2 days prior to the arrival. The hotel is on a great location, near the see and near the bars of Plava laguna. Hotel has it's own beach (in August crowded over the limit). And this is where all the good thing about this hotel end. We had one of the worse rooms (513). It was on the top floor, no roof over the balcony and facing the pool. The room is very very basic (no TV, no airconditioning). It was so hot in the room, that we barely could sleep during the night and it was impossible to be in the room during the day. Each nigth the music by the pool was so laud, that we couldn't hear each other in the room. The bathroom was new, but there was not enough pressure for the watter to run and you can only choose between very hot or very cold shower. The bedding was clean, the room was so old, it was hard to decide whether it is not cleaned or the stains are 20 years old. The food: it was OK, if you stay for one day, because the next day it was the same. You have to pay for the drinks, but the prices are reasonable. The pool: unless you wait in line 1 hour before opening, there is no chance to get a chair. Reception: despite pre-online-check-in I was asked to do on my mobile, I still had to go through the procedure at the desk and leave my personal documents there (which I think is not even legal). When I wanted to pay, the price was like 30% hugher than the one I receveid when making a reservation on line on their web page. After 3 version of the price, they finnaly charged me the right one, with no word od excuse. And the worse thing: Covid 19 situation: the stuff wore masks (not hiding their noses), a women in the restaurant was caughing terriblly while cleaning the tables. The hotel has sanitizers all around. I was told that the hotel is not full (I do not believe it, because 95% of the hotel balconies had hanging beach towels every afternoon - indicated all the rooms have guests). No guests were wearing any masks, no 1.5m distance between guests. The hotel was really crowded and potentially dangerous to catch a desease. The prices of the hotel are the lowest in Poreč, bust still not that low, that all the above mentiones things could be happening. Please, Plava Laguna, do some renovation in your hotel, to make your guest have more pleasent time. Air condioning is a must!! TV as well. And reduce the number of guest by half. Thank you.

This hotel is terrible.I will never visit the same again. Rooms are the smallest I've ever seen in my life. Staying at that hotel I thought I was in 1984. Breakfast is also from past century. Disaster shortly...

We were in this hotel for the third time. We staid there just for a weekend. Location of the hotel is beautiful, away from the city and other hotels. The beach is close to the hotel. With respect to 2 stars, the only difference was, that we didn't have TV in the room. We didn't miss it. Everything was clean and the hotel staff was friendly. Food was good. We missed some cakes and other desserts.

Let’s start by saying this hotel is animal friendly even though you don’t have room to swing a cat in the bedroom. The bedroom was very small with very little room for storage . They had a shelf over a walk way open both ends for your suitcases, that you had to stand on a chair to reach. The bathroom was wide enough to allow only one person at a time to use it . You had to enter the shower sideways to get in . The toilet had a heated towel rail beside it with the regulator sticking straight at your face , you had to be very careful not to hit it. We left a piece of paper behind the bin in the bathroom early in the stay and it was still there when we were leaving. The hotel had accommodations for between 1800 / 2000 people but it was not able to look after numbers like that . The pool area had room for probably for 2/3 hundred people , which was taken up very early as the people queued for over 1 hour in the morning before the pool opened . The restaurant was a joke you had to cue up like someone in prison to have your meal slopped up to you by very unfriendly staff. The food in general was of a very poor standard with the menu staying the same most days. The staff in general were unfriendly. The day we were leaving we had to be out by 10 o’clock, our flight was not until 10.30 that evening. The bags were left in an open room down stairs. We asked for shower room to use before we left after being in the heat all day , we were told to use the shower at the swimming pool . We asked for some towels and were told we would have to ask the cleaners for them. The area is lovely but the hotel is well below what you would expect .

This hotel was a nightmare. Extremely loud, parties everyday in various locations so you won’t really sleep in here no matter where your room is situated. Besides there is no AC so you need to have your windows open and then - you will be woken up at 7 by the cleaning stuff at the pool. The rooms are really small, the corridors are nasty. All day is very crowded and very loud. The worst stay EVER.

We've had an amazing holiday here. Our room was typical twin, smaller but functional and kept clean daily by housekeeping staff. Bathroom small but ok for us, new and again kept clean with new towels every day. Food was good - taste and selection. Pool area great and sea just steps away. Daily entertaiment. There is no aircon in the room but it didnt bothered us. I highly recommend this place.
