The Crvena Luka Resort is primarily set apart by the mesmerising colours, smells, flavours and sensations it evokes in its visitors. In spite of the resort’s intriguing name, meaning “Red Harbour”, the colours that truly define the experience of staying here are the crystal blue and emerald green of the pristine sea in a secluded cove, the golden glow of its stunning sun-bathed sandy beach, the deep green shade of Mediterranean pines and the pure white of Dalmatian stone, all complemented and enhanced by the resort’s modern design and impeccable service. The inherent natural beauty blends perfectly with the stylish ambience in an ideal location a stone’s throw away from Biograd na Moru, with the Vransko Lake Nature Park in the hinterland and gorgeous panoramic views extending along the southern tip of the island of Pašman towards the west, overlooking the unique Kornati archipelago and opening up to the kaleidoscope of rich shades of golden, crimson and purple of the most beautiful sunset on the Adriatic coast.

Beautiful location, our apartment was great and very comfortable and clean. There were ants but housekeeping came every morning to put down powder and that helped get rid of them.
We visited in April with a 10 and 12 year old. The weather was cool, I had thought they’d be swimming in the sea and outdoor pool all day but that wasn’t possible. They enjoyed the indoor pool and tennis and football courts instead though. There wasn’t quite enough to do in the area as it was early in the season so we cut our trip here short and travelled down the coast. I had thought the tennis courts would be included in the price but they were €7 an hour. We were also told the indoor swimming pool was an additional charge when we first checked in but it wasn’t.
The food was average in the main restaurant but the pizza place was good. The wait for pancakes in the morning was painful and could be avoided but just having a tray full of pancakes already cooked and letting the kids who want to cook their own use the machine.
I’d stay again but probably in summer when it was much warmer and can make the most of the lovely bay and beach.

Best part of the resort is the shallow, sandy beach within a protected harbour. Great for young children. Rooms consist of single beds in a hotel and 2 bed villas. Single beds are not doubles but two singles together. THERE ARE NO SEA VIEWS. All buildings are behind trees. Breakfast and dinner buffets are ok but nothing special. Overall resort caters to families with young children, so couples and those with older kids (14+) beware. Resort sells beach passes to outsiders so beach chairs are limited.

We spent a week at the hotel, we liked the direct access to the sea and the beauty of the place. However, everything here is centered around the kids. As a couple being prime tent surrounded by kids with quiet areas or areas with no kids

Great place and great food. One of the best staff in Croatia, but unfortunately they are not organized at all. People who come to hotels or apartments do not have any greater authority than those who come for 30 kn only during the day. Really awful because guests of a hotel or apartment for which they paid a lot of money somebody can throw towels from lounger. (And people of hotels and apartments are promised loungers) Also the outdoor pool is in big trouble. The water is very disgusting that they had to close the pool for two days to clean it. And no one respects the eight people in the pool during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We were there in June 2022 It was out of peak season, but the resort was full. The beach and the whole area are very nice. It is a great place to vacation with young children. The food was average. I like that the resort is closed and when it is full, people who are not staying there are not allowed to enter. Crowded beaches are a big problem in Croatia and here this is very well regulated.

Beautiful peaceful and private resort. The water quality is just amazing, I’ve never seen such clean water and sea horses before. We had only breakfast and it was great. It would be even better if they would have a little more animation but despite that this is a hidden diamond on the adriatic sea.

Absolutely not worth the money, breakfast and dinner canteen level, industrial food, the room modern but very common for the price and not in good state (holes in the walls and worn cushion), we booked a room for two adults and one kid, our kid had to sleep on the sofa in the living room. Not enough equipment for all the customers (war for pancakes, for deckchairs, for a table on the terrace). The swimming pool was ok but closed a complete day during our holiday. Some locals say to us that the ressort has bad reputation... avoid this hotel, do not waste your time or your money.

This was our second visit to this Resort and it was really beautiful. Why we came back and why we will visit again is because the location is unlike anything I've seen in Croatia and the personnel working here is really kind and helpful. I lost my phone on my first day here and everyone helped me look for it - we found it in Resort's restaurant Mamma Rosa :-) I love this resort, I come here to charge my batteries!

We’ve been coming here for years, because it was a chill family place. You can see the decline in quality, the surroundings are badly maintained, people are allowed to park cars in pedestrian areas etc.

It can also happen that half of the place gets rented out to a company retreat, so the whole area is swarmed by drunken people, jumping in the sea with their clothes on, blasting music on golf carts and partying till late at night. Basically taking over the place for the weekend. Who wants to see corporate advertising and banners on their vacation?

The leadership is clearly driven only by profit and greed and has no regard for the apartment owners and other visitors.

Very nice location, frendly staff, very spacious apartments. Very close to the sea. Apartment not cleaned perfectly (dust left under beds, ants on the balcony, but except that, all other clean enough. Would be good to have cleaning powder and other cleaning accessories. Great sauna and indoor pool area, small pool but perfectly enough for a short fun for children. Nice playground. Would be nice to have small store not to have to go to shopping by car every time.
