Having stayed at a similar set-up in Zadar, we were a bit disappointed with the size of the room - it was adequate but not big. The free WiFi was OK but very unstable in the room and I had to re-connect my phone every time and needed to use it, and on occasions halfway through a Skype call. Location of the Villa is very good, just a short walk from the front and the beach, but I have to say Biograd isn't worth a visit. The town is not pretty, unlike most of the other Croatian towns we visited, there aren't many shops and the frontage is very ordinary. The two days we spent there were wasted. Anyway, back to the Maimare - the guy who runs the place is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was OK, but there was a problem with the taste of the water in the hot and cold

I spent 8 days and nights at the Villa MaiMare. It has a great family atmosphere and it is at first hard to find as coming in from the bus none of the locals seemed to know where it was. The room was adequate but not spectacular. It is close to the beach and downtown area but does not offer a view of the sea. On checkout even though I booked through my credit card I was forced to get extra cash to pay for the room. Everyone there though is very helpful and friendly, however if I had to do it over again I would have booked a hotel with a seaview.

We stayed in Villa Maimare for a week in september, very few people as it was the end of the season, the hotel perfect had everything and much more. City, pebblestone beach and environment were great, the young couple in the hotel was very helpfull and would do everything they can to make you feel at ease. First time but certainly not the last time in Villa Maimare, Biograd and Croatie, loved it all.

We have left Villa Maimare few days ago, with a heavy heart. I wanted to write the review while the memories are still fresh. But to be honest, we had such an unforgettable time, there is no way I am going to forget their warmth and hospitality in a hurry. The owners of the place, gorgeous Ms Maya, together with her husband and great staff, catered to our every whim and made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. I want to tell them all THANK YOU again. We were in a big group (numbers kept changing from day to day, at one point it was 11 family and friends in Villa Maimare). There were a lot of requests, starting from dates and room changes (due to death in the family we had to change dates around few times, and they were most understanding and sympathetic). During our
