Great place to stay! Great place to visit with a bunch of friends! We recommend it highly with or without kids. Reserve in advance. Research trails to hike nearby. Wish we had visited nearby museum. Lots of space.

This is the second time that we have stayed at the 29 Palms Inn. Both times we stayed in the Forget-Me-Not adobe cottage. We love the fireplace and the privacy. It is also pleasant to walk around the grounds. The restaurant is also a nice place to eat.

Everything about 29 Palms Inn is five stars. Unique cabins, stellar service, and such wonderful personality. And so close to the JT National Park. My family couldn't have asked for anything better. And the food at the restaurant is so delicious!! Best food you can find in Twentynine Palms. And the packed lunches and breakfast in the morning are hearty...

I've stayed here twice and can't wait until the next trip. The staff are all friendly and helpful and willing to share about the inn's unique history. Take time to wander around the property- there's a lot to explore and to see. The restaurant is quite good. We ordered the delicious bagged lunches and took them to Joshua Tree for...

This was a great stop over after a few days in Las Vegas. The inn is a little gem hidden away in a unique part of the country. The rooms are very quaint with lots of charm. We stayed in the Faultline which had a hammock and a fridge in the private courtyard. Yoga on weekend mornings was a nice...

Our first impression of this place was annoying, because as we walked in to check in, Julia was on the phone and did not even look up from the desk. After fifteen minutes of booking a room for someone else, and never once even acknowledging that we were there, she finally hung up and said hello. If first impressions are...

I decided to attend the Joshua Tree Music Festival on Oct. 7 & stay at the 29 Palms for the night of Oct. 6. After looking at the various adobe cottages & wooden cabins at the resort on the website, I chose to stay in one called Forget-Me-Not that is a stand alone cottage. It was a very good decision...

Lovely, historic property. Rooms are spartan, but clean and comfortable. Nice touches, such as providing an ice chest for keeping lunch and snacks cool in the hot desert. The included breakfasts were ample, but with little variety. The picnic lunches available at the restaurant were excellent and reasonably priced. Ditto for dinners at the restaurant. The only downside was that...

I wasn't sure what to expect from the photos and reviews of this hotel but I was very pleased I had booked it after a most enjoyable stay. Lovely bungalows with private courtyards were clean and comfortable and I loved the original features mixed with modern touches and local art. And the pool was most welcome on a very hot...

I can appreciate the Inn is a historic property and the desire to maintain it's character but the room I was in did not live up to those expectations. Room X is in need of repair and paint. The dry wall had water damage which was painted over, walls in general were in need of repair and paint, a window...

Dear SCS3111, Thank you for recent stay with us. It is nice to hear the kind feedback for our restaurant staff; however, we do wish your overnight stay had lived up to your expectations. We are sincerely apologetic for the loud ceiling fan and stuck window; both items have now been repaired and I am sorry you had to bring...
