I joined some friends, who were staying for the week, for 3 nights. A very warm welcome from the hotel manager, Wes. He is very knowledgeable about the area and has created a great atmosphere within the hotel through having a great friendly team. The hotel facilities are set up for having a great party with 3 bars which are open... More

I guess you get what you pay for - we booked this late and to be fair got a cheap deal. The hotel is fairly basic - but comfortable and at the end of the day we just wanted a bed for the night. The food is ordinary and a bit plain, but wholesome (the quality varied - salmon with... More

Staying up the road but came in to the red horse pub for lunch and stayed the whole day. Jamie's shots are amazing. Ask him to make you a balibu or a bambuca - can't go wrong!! Love this place and will definitely come again. Come during the day time for total entertainment off the slopes!

Visited in half term, so an unusually quiet week as no kids under the ages of 16 are allowed to stay. No issue there. A very warm welcome from Wes on the first day who made us feel at home. For a skiing holiday the hotel is ideal, located maybe a 5 minute walk to the main ski hire shop... More

Arrived with my son and was greeted by Wes (hotel manager) and quickly checked in and informed dinner would be served in the downstairs bar, as it was 21:00 and the dinning room was closed, as dinner is normally served between 18:00 - 19:00 (Food is Outstanding) On going downstairs and into the Irish Bar we were both again greeted... We have just returned home again after a great stay at the Rubin, Wes is a great manager and certainly knows how to entertain and is now a good friend. Kerry and Brett are both great and are good friends also, they always make us so welcome, they cannot do enough for you. The hotel is clean, rooms are cleaned... More

Have stayed here a couple of times now and nothing is too much trouble for them. They treat you like family. Their moto arrive as visitors, stay as friends, leave as family. Wessley the hotel manager and his team work hard to ensure that this is true. Quite knowledgeable of the area. Quite a character with amazing stories to entertain... More

Had a great stay here over the new year period. Hotel is run by British people. The ladies at the bars were really nice and Wesley who did breakfast and dinners was lovely, bubbly and full of knowledge about Soll. A shame as the dinners were really poor quality and lacked variety. We stayed on the first floor above the... More
