Stayed with a group of friends at the Ski Total run Chalet Hotel Hermann from 29th Jan to 5th Feb 2017. When we arrived the sun was blazing but there was plenty of snow down to valley bottom. The chalet is located in an elevated position above the town, view were fab, and though we had previously read that this...

Recently visited hotel Hermann from the 5th Feb till 12th. Superb skiing conditions and food was absolutely fantastic with the option to choose your 5 course meal the night before. Food was well cooked and presented in an excellent way and restaurant standard. Good choice of wines although soft drinks are charged on a tab to the room. There are...

Hotel Hermann is a fantastic establishment both visually and in the way it is run. I'll get the negative out the way, the hotel is advertised as ski in and ski out but when compared to other hotels around Solden, this isn't the case. Due to the lack of ski in and ski out sometimes it can be problematic as...

In most respects this is a lovely chalet high up on the hill above the village. It is spacious: the rooms are generous; the staff courteous and hard working; it is comfortable and relaxing. It conforms well to the Ski-Total ambience. In the very low temperatures of early January 2017, even with the double-glazed plate glass picture windows in the...

The hotel has been perfect for us and all the staff have all been excellent. Once again Ski Total has delivered another great holiday for the Shenstone Ski Club. We have already booked with Ski total for next year in Chalet Belmonte in Ischgl! Austria is now going to be our 1st choice, great service, great resturants at realistic prices!

We stayed here the week before christmas as a group of friends. All aspects of the chalet were incredible value for money but above all the staff were fantastic and incredibly accommodating especially our rep Pete.

We booked a week before Xmas to ski in Solden and Obergurgl/Hochgurgl. We arrived by coach with Ski Total on the Friday 23rd December and one of the staff were waiting to book us in to our room. We stayed in the Panorama Rooms, which were situated around the back of the hotel, our room was on the 3rd floor....

Stayed here for a week with a group of friends and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The chalet is great with clean, decent sized rooms and a large bar / lounge area. Also a very nice (and welcome after a day on the slopes) sauna and steam room. The evening meals were very good, each evening there was the choice of two...

We're delighted that you and your group had such a great week away with us, Andy K. The Chalet Hotel Hermann is in a great resort with some superb skiing in the area, including Obergurgl, which makes for a fab 'ski away day'. We hope to welcome you all again. The Ski Total team

Thank you for your review, MolJY. It's great to hear that you enjoyed your time in Solden, where our excellent team at the Chalet Hotel Hermann looked after you so well throughout your week. Wi-Fi is normally only available in communal areas, so it's good to hear that you benefited in your first floor rooms. We don't describe the property...

Location is not as described. We were there last week for a one week stay. There is no snow at the hotel level so you can't ski close to the hotel, it's a trek down to town and the bus/taxi service didn't really work so well. If you've got children and want to be closer to lifts and town this...

It's disappointing that you did not enjoy aspects of your stay with us in Solden last week, sashaSurreyEngland. Unfortunately ski-in/ski-out is rather dependent on snow conditions and can be tricky at the beginning and end of the ski season when conditions are rather variable. We regret that you were disappointed because of this.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Chalets and Chalet Hotels in the snow-sure resort of Sölden are hard to find and we are delighted that our first Chalet Hotel in this resort has proved a great success. The Hermann is a charming and traditional hotel in which our guests enjoy the full Ski Total catering services. Not many chalets or hotels in Sölden can offer better access to the skiing. The Chalet Hotel Hermann has one of the most scenic locations in the resort with several access routes to the skiing. The lively atmosphere of Solden's centre can be reached by a 5 minute walk to a small funicular down to the town plus we offer free evening shuttle service. ... more   less
