Have stayed here 3 times with family and friends while skiing. The couple are the best people ever and the food is hearty and Bavarian. It is cosy and honest here and not too far a walk from the bus stop. Can’t wait to go back to sheffau and stay here again.

This small hotel is a little gem, tucked away in a quiet corner of Scheffau. The owners George and Ingrid were very welcoming, friendly and helpful . The food, cooked by George, was tasty with four courses served in the evening. Our room was large, fairly basically furnished

We stayed here from 31st December 2016 until 7th January 2017. We had two rooms for 5 of us (2 adults and 3 children) and they were very clean and a great size. The food at this hotel is fantastic and the owners are very welcoming and friendly. There is a shed for ski storage

"If you can get a room on the top floor as there is a lift"
"Scheffau is a lovely quiet village - not for the party crowds."
"Pension (Hotel) is situated in a quiet area, approx. 5 minute walk from the main street (and Ski Bus collection point)."
"Ask for balcony facing the slopes."
"Personally, I would choose a room on the top floor, only because it may be marginally quieter (not that it's in any way noisy generally) and it gives you the opportunity of some exercise up the stairs (I don't do lifts)"
