Traditional family run hotel. Situated on the very pretty central square. Pleasant public spaces, clean and well maintained. The bedrooms we had were reasonably sized and warm. The staff are friendly and there is a lovely St Bernard called Barry. For Skiers, the hotel is

Not the best customer service and distinct discrimination against single females travelling alone. Single rooms are clean, bed comfortable with an super-comfy extra large pillow, hot shower and large bathroom and more than adequate storage (wardrobe, hooks, drawers etc).

We stopped in the Gasthof Mauth for a week. I wasn’t sure what we’d find after reading other reviews but we were pleasantly surprised. Our room was cleaned daily and towels changed. The hotel was clean and tidy. The food we really enjoyed which was great as we went half board.

Do all rooms have a balcony?
No they don't, we were in a room at the side of the gasthof, hope this helps, we were a little disappointed with our room but for the price we paid we could not complain. We enjoyed our stay and would return.

do the rooms have a kettle
No, very few hotels in austria do, we take a travel kettle. If arriving late on a Saturday, it's often difficult to get some milk, there's a Billa supermarket just off the square heading to the ski lifts, only a 3min walk that's usually open early Sunday mornings.

I can't remember exactly and don't know if the times are different in summer and winter seasons. As I recall, breakfast was 7.30am - 9.30am. Dinner was very early 6.30pm to about 8pm.
