We stayed a week at Hotel Fahrner in January. The biggest bonus for us was that they're one of the only hotels in St Anton that let you book short weeks, and not just Saturday - Saturday. It's a quiet, family run hotel based a bit outside the main town up a hill. There's facilities to leave skis at the...

From our first start in hotel the owners showed very little customer friendliness. First, we were asked to wait until Mrs. [--] had gotten her morning coffee, before she would provide service for us. They list them self up as being a ski hotel, but they can not handle early arrival or late departure. We were asked to change clothes...

Thank you all for a much needed and wonderful last night experience in St Anton, fantastic room, view and food. Thoroughly recommend the restaurant, particularly the fondue menu, and the wines were excellent too.

My fiancé and I stayed at the Hotel Fahrner for Christmas week. I'd never been away over Christmas before and after this stay I will certainly be going away over Christmas a lot more! What an amazing experience. We arrived on Christmas Eve and were greeted by the proprietor Gina (who I also might add was beautifully dressed in traditional...

Rooms were fine with good beds, nice view. Breakfast and diner very good. Friendly staff. But, despite of the good staff, the owners of the hotel didn't give us the feeling that we where welcome. The way we were treated was disrespectfull and they had a contemptuously attitude. That leaves a nasty taste in the mouth....

I had booked the Hotel Fahrner quite a few weeks in advance and to be honest I couldn’t remember why I had chosen it. When you look at where it is on a map it looks to be a 10 minute walk from the main Galzig Lift. What I didn’t take into consideration was that like most ski resorts, St...

We've just returned from a weeks stay & thoroughly enjoyed it, the owners are both very friendly & helpful & the staff were all great. Nice cosy warm room, comfy bed & good powerful shower. The food was top notch, fantastic help yourself buffet for breakfast & a real gourmet dinner in the evening. Very well stocked bar too, if...

This is a family run quality hotel, like many in Austria. Like in my many other reviews of similar Austrian hotels, it's very hard to fault them in any way. You always get exactly what is advertised and what you paid for. In this particular case you get a true 4 star hotel, relatively small which makes it rather quiet,...
