Rooms were fine with good beds, nice view. Breakfast and diner very good. Friendly staff. But, despite of the good staff, the owners of the hotel didn't give us the feeling that we where welcome. The way we were treated was disrespectfull and they had a contemptuously attitude. That leaves a nasty taste in the mouth....

I had booked the Hotel Fahrner quite a few weeks in advance and to be honest I couldn’t remember why I had chosen it. When you look at where it is on a map it looks to be a 10 minute walk from the main Galzig Lift. What I didn’t take into consideration was that like most ski resorts, St...

We've just returned from a weeks stay & thoroughly enjoyed it, the owners are both very friendly & helpful & the staff were all great. Nice cosy warm room, comfy bed & good powerful shower. The food was top notch, fantastic help yourself buffet for breakfast & a real gourmet dinner in the evening. Very well stocked bar too, if...

This is a family run quality hotel, like many in Austria. Like in my many other reviews of similar Austrian hotels, it's very hard to fault them in any way. You always get exactly what is advertised and what you paid for. In this particular case you get a true 4 star hotel, relatively small which makes it rather quiet,...

I can safely say that i'm am a well seasoned skier, i've been out with friends, girlfriends and the whole family at different times and probably about 20 different resorts.. This hotel represent a brilliant example of a perfect venue, with a horrible management and hosting team. I cam here with a couple of my friends, all can allow for...

The booking system for this hotel is a scam and I am truly horrified at the way I have been mislead as a customer. I was looking for a hotel in the area on short notice and went on to various hotel websites to check if they had availability, including the Hotel Fahrner website. Having checked whether they had availability...

Very good family run hotel. Food is gourmet style, with 4-5 courses every meal. One of the best breakfast I have ever seen. Nice selection of Austrian and other wines. The Austrian wines are particularly interesting as they might be hard to find outside Austria. Nice bar for socializing and having a quiet after ski in. Schuttle bus to the...

We have stayed at the Fahrner for fifteen years and wouldn't dream of staying any where else. The attention to detail and the warmth of the hospitality, along with the good food, lovely rooms and the best margaritas this side of the Atlantic!

Hotel: the hotel itself is very comfortable and well maintained. Initially we were a little concerned about being out of town; we really should not have been as this proved to be an advantage when it came to the room. Furthermore the hotel owners run a shuttle service in the morning and the afternoon. Alternatively it is truly only a...

We had a great week at Fahrner, if I ever go back to St Anton I will definitely stay at the same hotel again. Large clean rooms with comfortable beds. Great food and good service throughout our whole stay.

“We had booked a superior room in order to have a guest in an extra bed some of the days. This turned out to be rather expensive, and instead he got a room facing a shaft! They forgot to clean his room one of the days. Be sure to have a room facing the front of the hotel.”
