Actually we wanted to fly to the south, but then decided on Austria and this hotel because our children were there with friends in June this year and totally raved about it. We didn't regret it. We were warmly welcomed. The atmosphere was familiar and friendly and you immediately feel at home. We had a great room with wonderful views of the valley, which is sensational at an altitude of about 1800 m with clear visibility. We booked the stay with half board and were spoiled early and in the evening with mostly regional delicacies. Even the salad buffet is a highlight. Extra requests will be considered. In the afternoon, you can enjoy coffee and various treats on the terrace when the weather is nice. We were lucky with the weather and could hike every day and explore the beautiful area and various alpine huts. In short, the place is an absolute Recommendation and we will definitely come back.

We spent a few days at the Berghotel & Gasthof Marlstein last year and booked for this year before we left. Great hosts, a family atmosphere, the feeling of being in exactly the right place. We have already booked again for 2024 because we value this type of vacation. Not only the surroundings, which look like they were pictured, or the many great hiking trails, some of which start right at the hotel, invite you to go on daily activities, but a variety of leisure activities within a short drive are always worth a trip. Clean rooms, great food (a 3-course menu to choose from every day), and really great, courteous and lovely service. Absolutely nothing is left to be desired. And the sauna session after a hike in the rain revives the spirits.

The stay was very nice. The staff and the owners offer a family atmosphere in which you quickly feel comfortable and welcome. The food is served in large portions and is a feast for the palate and the eyes in terms of taste and appearance. Everything was perfect! And even the view from our window was simply fantastic! We had a clear view of the Zugspitze! We felt very welcome from the first moment we arrived at the hotel! The rooms are very well equipped! My partner's son (12) also felt very comfortable in his room from the very beginning! The food was excellent! The entire ambience exuded a sense of security! Room: Very idyllic location at 1800 m altitude with an incredibly beautiful view. Our room (Alpenrose) in the annex was clean, modern and spacious, had enough storage space and the large balcony was great for looking out after activities. Food: The food was worth 11/10 points. Breakfast was a buffet that actually included everything from hearty to sweet. For dinner there was a lavish starter and salad buffet, followed by a soup with a main course (choice of two dishes, one of which was vegetarian) and dessert. Wellness: The saunas (90Ā°C, 60Ā°C and infrared cabin) were perfect for relaxing after activities. There was a fruit basket and a tea corner. After the sauna you could cool down on the balcony and enjoy the mountain panorama. Staff: All employees were always friendly, very nice and in a good mood. As a guest you immediately felt the family atmosphere among each other and with the guests. Activities: I can speak of summer activities. There is a large selection of hiking tours, bicycle or mountain bike routes, activities in the Ćtztal and Hochƶtzgebirge. The staff was extremely welcoming. The food was incredibly delicious. The location is excellent ā we were able to set off daily for hikes directly from the inn. Our room offered a great view of the mountains and valley. The stables with rabbits, horses, chickens, goats and sheep completed our experience perfectly. The inn is also very quiet.

We have stayed at Marlstein berghotel &gasthof in Tyrol for 5 nights. The location is perfect for trips around Tyrol since it is located at the oetz valley.
