This hotel is a 2 minute walk from the ski lifts. It's small and friendly, a welcome change from the likes of the Eidelweiss that has become too large and impersonal. Rooms are fairly small with "modern" furniture, with a large glass bathroom jutting into the space. Bathroom glass is frosted, but you can still hear everything your other half...

After 4 years we tried this modern hotel again. We loved our stay which was cosy and relaxing. It is now an adults only oasis of good food, well equiped rooms and good service. The view from the sauna and roof top outdoor hot pool is icing on the cake of a great stay.

Really friendly attentive welcome. Open fire in lounge/bar was a bit hit and miss but lovely when roaring! Good food at all meals, and great attentive service at our table from our waiter Joseph. Fabulous pool and other wellness areas, including for us Brits a 'textile' sauna, which as others who have been to Tyrol can testify is a relief...

Book this hotel early and pay up front to get a good price on a superb hotel. The first welcome ("Would you like to sit by the fire with a glass of Prosecco while I explain everything?" - yes we would!) sets the scene for a fabulous week. Little extra touches (e.g. Easter Sunday - decorated plate of Easter eggs...

This was our second time at this amazing hotel, and I would definitely go back a third! There is really nothing to fault - the staff are incredibly friendly and ben over backwards to ensure guests are well catered for, the rooms are comfortable, the spa amazing and the food perfect! Best place to stay when skiing in Austria!

This modern and well furnished hotel attracts a real melting pot of nationalities, during our week there I spoke to English, German, Austrian, Russian, French, American, Swiss and Italian guests - not bad for a hotel with only 40 rooms! Our flight had been delayed, we didn't arrive till midnight, so a nice touch from the hotel was that a...

A new modern hotel built on the site of the old hotel. Fabulous greeting on arrival when told by reception to leave the car for them to park and to come in and have a seat and a glass of sparkling wine! Spacious open plan rooms with large balconies looking down the valley. Superb cuisine with imaginative dishes well balanced...

Last six years spent very happily at Josl. This was 7th; there won't be an 8th! We returned to UK two days early as despite the good snow and weather, couldn't stand the hotel any longer and felt very uncomfortable there. On arrival we were given our room. Superior was booked. This was much smaller than we had enjoyed previously...

Just returned from a week at the Josl, was a little worried as we booked late and got a first floor standard room(110 / sat 8-15th march). A couple of other trip advisor reviews had concerned me but needn't have worried. The room was a little on the small side but was spotless and very well set up. Nice contemporary...

My wife and I have just returned from our 5th consecutive ski holiday at this hotel, being the first year under new management and a complete staff change (we were told that none of the long-term employees - people we knew on a first name basis - were willing to come back this season). We were also told "yes, all...

“We were on the north side of the hotel on the first floor (room 102) which we found to be very quiet (the entrance's to the Josl Keller are on the south and west sides). We didn't have any of the noise issues mentioned by other reviewers, the room location may be why.”
