2nd visit to the Alpina after 5 years. Rooms were great even though we were in the area that has yet to be modernised. Great views. Food as always is excellent. Waitress Ivana is really good. Boot room really good and piste-side. Spa is good although very very warm and at times a little noisy with children. Textile free spa...

An extremely professional reception set the tone for a marvellous week's skiing. Our room was on the top floor and was spacious, immaculately clean and very comfortable. It was due for renovation but when we saw our friends' renovated room several floors below we much preferred ours. Service in all departments is outstanding and the food exceptional, leaving one with...

This was our second ski holiday of the season, and thanks to a fabulous first week, we chose to take our second holiday at the Alpina too. NOTHING is too much trouble when staying at this hotel. I'm vegetarian, and they accommodated my every need. My 8 year old son had every culinary request met too. The rooms are spotless,...

Lovely hotel, spacious communal areas and rooms. Staff were fantastic as was the food and the location was incredibly easy for everything. Ski in ski out and a shuttle bus for all other occasions. Can't fault the Alpina at all and would return without hesitation.

Great hotel, good ski in ski out location, pool and spa area is great and staff work hard to please. Nothing is too much trouble in the restaurant and food is excellent. The running and cycling machines in the gym are difficult to use as the touch screens have almost stopped working but otherwise the gym is well equipped. Could...

Came here for the Easter ski holiday with the kids based on a recommendation from friends and were impressed! By taxi around 80mins from Innsbruck in a very pretty village with plenty of other hotels, shops and bars (but not as lively as some other resorts). Really friendly staff: Birgit our wine waitress was lovely as was Matteo who always...

We've stayed at the Alpina on 3 occasions. It is a large family run Hotel. The atmosphere is great, lots of happy smiles from guests & staff. The bar/lounge area is very large with lots of relaxed seating. Outside at the front of the hotel is a lovely sun terrace with tables/chairs & sun loungers (they even provide blankets if...

Our first ever ski winter vacations we decided to spend in this place on the advice of our friends who went skiing here for 9 years. And I must say, our first time, not like many things in life, was just great! This applies to the hotel itself and in particular to the human factor. After 12 hours of travel...

We arrived by car and were given directions to underground garage. Excellent with direct access into hotel. Lift to reception. Given our key to a suite D on first floor. Very spacious and immaculately clean. Toiletries mini bar safe. Very poor shower. The view from our room not as advertised. "Uninterrupted view". Definitely not - overlooked a domed roof. Disappointed....

We just go back from one week on the snowy slopes of Obergurgl. We have been here already for 10 years in a row and this is the first time that we didn't have sun almost every day. It's the third time we stay at this hotel. First of all compliments to the chef! The food is amazing! Every night...
