We stayed as a family with our 2 daughters over Christmas. Best location we have ever had, gondola literally by the back door as you came out of the boot room. Ski-ed back to the door each afternoon.Ski hire shop based in hotel. Excellent food, lovely buffet breakfast with lots of choice, bacon egg etc, cereals and juice, fresh fruit,...

We stayed here as a family over Christmas and had a wonderful time. It combines the charm of a typical Tyrolian hotel with the excellent spa facilities of the Crystal hotel which are superb! Really friendly staff decent food great atmosphere! And you walk out the door straight onto the Festkoglbahn and you can ski back to the door. What's...

The Sportiv and Crystal are like sister hotels. The Crystal is the shiny expensive sister, and the Sportiv is the ugly but cheap sister. The rooms were fine. The decor was tired and dated, but they were functional. The boot room facilities were good, included assigned boot racks and ski racks. Access to the ski hire shop and main gondola...

First visit here and will definitely return. Booked via Crystal Ski holidays and went in January this year. High altitude means that snow is more likely. We arrived in the evening in January with the snow falling. Walked in and greeted by friendly staff. This hotel is the country cousin to the boutique Crystal hotel across the road. I prefer...

We stayed in the Sportiv, which is the older and more traditional sister hotel to the Crystal. It is a large hotel, with ski hire shop in the basement. Excellent location right next to the Festkogel gondola lift (it doesn't get much closer to a lift!). You get the use of the Crystal's very smart spa facilities, which includes an...

Recently visited the hotel sportiv on 2nd April for one weeks ski holiday with my son and I have to say we couldn't of asked for a better hotel to stay in, ok so the rooms were slightly dated but this was a minor thing as the rooms were very clean with a modern bathroom we had a television which...

Alright, any assessment is completely subjective depending on your criteria, but even if you set out looking to pick faults, I think you will struggle. The rooms are nothing fancy and perhaps a little dated (and none the worse for that in this throwaway and plastic age), but they are clean, serviceable and cosy. Equally the bar area, reception and...

Warm reception, comfortable rooms, good food and superb service. Alessio, Diana, Saruna and Peter in the dining room will ensure that you are happy and have all you need. Dalibor, the barman, was such fun entertaining my grandchildren in the evenings in between his bar duties. The afternoon tea with a spread of savoury food and delicious cakes or pastries...

By far the best family hotel we have ever visited. The staff are absolutely wonderful, especially Dalibor the barman, our children were entertained the entire week by him! We were all so sad to leave and will be back! The rooms are very comfortable and the food hearty and warming after a long day on the slopes. Afternoon tea is...
