Late Booked Holiday, with the Hotel selected due to it being stated it was in a quiet location, and it didn't disappoint. Staff from arrival to departure were very friendly and extremely helpful. Menu was varied and plentiful especially after a long walk during the day. Special praise must go to Dzevada, who made us feel welcome and took time...

Our stay at the Hotel Austria was perfect, we were there for one week during our twin centre holiday. Can not praise enough,we arrived to be greeted and checked in by the lovely owner Angelika who had a warm welcome for us. She even remembered my husband who had stayed several times in the winter whilst skiing. The food was...

This is our 2nd time at Hotel Austria. We had a fabulous time. We were on a half board basis, breakfast was plentiful lots of choice. In the morning there is a menu on your table to select your evening meal, a choice of either soup or help yourself from the salad bar and 3 main dishes to choose from...

We've been coming to Niederau for 6 years now, mainly with large groups and 3-4 times per year, split between summer and winter. We've had many a good meal in the Hotel Austria over the years, the restaurant is dated, but clean and the waiter was friendly. In 2015 the standards started to drop and food would come out at...

Had a great time at the Austria hotel. Staff very friendly to you if you are friendly to them. Rooms a bit dated but very clean, warm, plenty of hot water. Really nice pool downstairs, almost always empty. Thermal room too for relieving aching ski bodies. Very short walk to ski lift and bus stops to other ski areas. Food...

I'm writing the review based on a really disappointing leaving meal we had at Hotel Austria. Having visited earlier in the week and had a lovely meal (despite a very grumpy waitress), we decided to go back for a 2nd time as a leaving meal to finish off our holiday, well we were a bit wrong with that. Firstly the...

Situated literally steps from the slopes, this hotel offers very clean rooms, swimming pool and sauna, wonderful, authentic food (and plenty of it), heated boot room, and much more. We booked "half board" so had breakfasts and dinners in the hotel. The housekeeping service is over-the-top with duvet and pillow designs each day. Dining Room staff very pleasant and accommodating....

Having tried alternative accommodation this February we moved to the Austria. What a pleasant surprise! Everything you would want and more in a ski resort. This is a very professional hotel, catering for the ski community, everything was exactly as you wanted a ski hotel to be, making your holiday effortless. Plenty of breakfast, a large choice of jucesm cereals...

We had an awful experience at the Hotel Austria, mainly because of the service we received. The food was average, quite salty and bland. We received a cold welcome, the staff were unhelpful and didn't carry out requests when asked. The hotel is very dated, it looks like it hasn't been decorated since the 1970's and the staff definitely haven't...

As a returning party to Niederau we have stayed in a number of the local hotels and the Hotel Austria is another good example of excellent facilities, great food and the perfect family hosts! Nothing was too much trouble, our rooms were very clean and spacious, the staff were genuinely polite and the location is as central to the Mountain...
