Although not in the heart of the village, it is located 175 meters to the main ski lift. It is 5 minutes walk to the village centre.
The reception is very nicely presented and staff are welcoming and efficient. Public rooms have a traditional tyrollean style all very warm and cosy. Bar can get far too noisy if you want a coversation, and sometimes we had to go to the restaurant simply to speak.
Food in the restaurant is good rather than exceptional, but the service is first class delivered by a keen and well trained staff who always had a smile.
Our room was very good, extremely clean and nicely fitted. Bathroom also very good.
The boot/ski room is the best I have ever seen.
Overall this hotel is very good indeed, and an excellent base for a ski trip. I would stay here again and again.

Another truly enjoyable stay at Hotel Solaria, having visited Ischgl many times I've not found another hotel in the area that surpasses the Solaria in terms of value or location. Exceptionally friendly staff, first class catering and cleanliness, comfortable airy rooms and the spa is just the tonic after a day on the slopes. We didn't know that this week was a holiday week for the Dutch. The main reason that we only could find this hotel with the last room available; a suite. More expensive therefore but it included full board. We didn't regret and made a reservation for next year outside the holiday periods.
The 5 course dinner is really good. One advice; don't miss the Saturday buffet. Look at the picture and you'll know why 😉
Full board meaning that you get a snack between 15:00 and 17:00, perfect when you come back from the slopes. When you take a very good breakfast you won't have to spend any money on overpriced food on the slopes.
Buffet breakfast has plenty of choice, only the hagelslag is missing 😅
Another reason for choosing this hotel is the Tesla destination charger available. One outside and one inside, which we could use and leave the car in the garage during our stay of 4 days.
This is in line with the general 'green behaviour' of this hotel.
So, recommendable and we'll be back!

I have stayed at H. Solaria a few times now. The recent refurbishments have resulted in a beautiful hotel which has still retained its original Tyrolean charm. Family owned, all the staff are exceptional. The food is a stand out point with enough choice to satisfy even the fussiest of diners. Ischgl has grown a lot over the years and bars become very expensive and noisy. The Solaria bar and stube are good value and a lovely place to chat with other guests before and after dinner. The new wellness area is beautiful too. The new boot room opens onto the pavement so no stair climbing first thing in the morning! If you don't want to walk the short 3min trip to the Pardatschgrat gondola you can rent heated lockers beneath.
I have skied in many places over the past 40 years and The Solaria and Ischgl is still my favourite.

We've just had a second fantastic family holiday at the Solaria. The owners and all the staff are so welcoming with very high service standards. It is one of our two most favourite hotels in the Alps and we look forward to returning again.
The hotel is done to a very high standard with modern twists on alpine wooden style. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable with large modern bathrooms. We enjoyed the indoor pool and sauna complex every evening. They are a welcome relief from a long day of skiing.
Great location. Only 3 mins walk to the main cable car and a really comfortable new boot room with boot heaters.
The food is excellent. A huge breakfast choice with fresh cooled eggs. 4 course dinner has a good choice with each dish carefully prepared and variety every day. Afternoon snack is more like another full meal and a real treat. We definitely never went hungry! Even the little touches like fresh apples by the reception and sweets for the kids to ski with.
All the staff were extremely kind and also professional. It is they who really make the hotel stand out from others. We celebrated my birthday during our stay and the hotel team went out of their way to make it a special day with a thoughtful gift, card and a splendid surprise cake.
We have recommended the Solaria to family qnd friends and can't wait to come back.

Great location of the building. It is situated almost by the ski lift, walking distance of around three minutes. Accommodation and services are at high level. The staff was very kind and helpful during our stay. Meals were for the most of the stay great. One big drawback was a fee for tap water during dinners. All inclusive holiday should include drinks for dinners - at least water! Some of ingredients in the meals were overused, the chef should go by "simple is sometimes better". The fitness room is poorly equipped, dumbbells only up to 10 kgs are shame. Barbell and rack for bench not present. Wellness was great though, not crowded.

I have visited the Solaria several times over the past 20 years or so. It's like "coming home" for me. The owners, Herr and Frau Kathrein have the knack of employing excellent staff who go about their work quietly and professionally, and are so helpful. The hotel is imaculate, the food delicious and the spa area amazing. The location is ideal being a short walk 2min to the main Pardatschgrat lift. It's also in a quiet part of Ischgl so the evening revellers never disturb you.

We are just back from our 4th trip. Can't be beaten in Ischgl. 3 mins to the Gondola, 2 mins to Ski hire, Food is superb, Spa is superb, and best of all staff year on year maintain a high standard of fab customer service. I cant wait to come back for the 5th time. Special mention too for Lisa who was greta with our group

Very inviting and friendly staff that will make you feel at home during your holiday! The hotel is situated very close to one of the main ski-lifts in Ischgl and it's well suited for a comfortable wintersport holiday. Yes we have WiFi. The only place we don't have any WiFi is in the Restaurant.
