We have just finished a weeks holiday in Ischgl, staying at the Hotel Garni Litzner and on all counts, we were impressed! Ischgl as a resort if fantastic, for ski area, modern lifts, variety of places to eat and drink and the best and most varied Apre Ski I’ve ever witnessed! The hotel Garni Litzner is located less than 5 mins walk from the newer town area (and a large, modern gondola lift), there is also an older part of town which is approx 15 mins walk from this hotel, however you could enjoy the variety of offerings in the new town area and not even realise there was more to explore. The service at the hotel was impeccable, from the initial welcome of the friendly hotel owner, to the daily smile and chat with the chamber maid and the attentive and friendly approach of the hostess at breakfast, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was varied, of high quality and plentiful, one of the best I’ve had compared to similar ski hotels. Our room was spotlessly clean, with a modern bathroom and TV, hairdryer etc. It’s not the largest room I’ve stayed in, however this is quite typical of ski hotel rooms in this price range. In total our party had 3 rooms, the other 2 were sightly bigger with balconies, if you would enjoy a balcony, I’d ask the question when booking as many rooms had them. I can highly recommend this hotel and I would certainly stay again when I next visit Ischgl. Thanks for looking after us!

Whilst the owner might not be the friendliest of people, she was not rude. Price was not "cheap" as such but more competitive than most. Breakfast was very good (coffee excellent). Rooms and hotel were spotless. Location was 5mins walk to first lift. The only observation were the beds were doubles so sharing with my best mate would not have been my first choice. However, after several beers at Schatzi, we were unconscious anyway. Brilliant few days and will return to this hotel

We were on a short-ski trip in Ischgl & spent 3 nights in Litzner. First the positive points: the hotel was clean, the rooms were big & comfortable and the breakfast was OK. On a negative side however, I found it very expensive: 90 € per person per night is quite expensive for a 3* hotel. Furthermore, I found the staff & reception unfriendly & unavailable. The reception was only open in the morning, which posed problems for our group because 1 latecomer could not enter the hotel during the day - 'you have to arrange it', they said. Furthermore, I had a small accident so I couldn't ski the last day. When asking if I could postpone a bit my stay & check out at 12:00 instead of 10:00, they didn't want to help me & just stopped the conversation, saying it wasn't manageable with the cleaning crew - an excuse because the day before I heard people cleaning till 2PM.

Stayed here for the 2nd time with friends. Great spot in quiet location but close enough to bars and restaurants. Breakfast adequate and friendly staff with generous rooms. If you dont want to break the bank but have all the delights that Ischgl has to offer then this offers great value for money in what is otherwise an expensive ski resort.
