I came to Ischgl for a week's ski with my husband. The hotel is perfect and even more. We got a great room, but as we didn't want a street view, the manager gave us a side view room, upgraded us to a superior room. The room is huge, extremely clean, silent, and super comfortable, with warming floors in the toilette and shower. Breakfast and dinner, superb. The ski room, very roomy and comfortable. The ski piste ends at the very hotel, so it is ski out. For starting the day, we walked 150 m to the gondola, which doesn't bother at all. Thanks to the manager and all the staff, that were so friendly and helping in everything we asked for. Definitively the first choice in Ischgl.
Ischgl has a lot of hotels all stars. Some 15 years ago was our first time there. Our hotel was not bad of course not excellent too but OK. Next year we find another nearer to the center and lifts. We had a very bad experience concerning clearness but awful food. Little and awful. Our third attempt was Seespitz hotel. And from that time almost every year we come back. Of course maybe there are others good hotels in the area BUT Roller family treats you like family. Yaro is so helpful with all that laggades always in good humor. Arriving at the reception desk they have everything ready for you and you don't spent time,!!!! as special buffet near the reception smells so nice. Rooms are spacious very clean and every time we go there we see a lot of changes in the rooms in lobby bar etc meaning that they spend money for us to be satisfied. Food is fantastic and if there is something you like to eat there is always a solution according to your taste. Breakfast is also so generous I am jealous of those who can eat the half. Leaving the hotel there is a souvenir gift so sweet. Several days are gone since we left Seespitz and dream to come back next year…
Stayed during March 2019 and having stayed in numerous hotels over the 20 years or so that Ive been skiing in Ischgl I have to say this was the best hotel I've stayed in. The location is perfect, the food is top class, and what's more they don't do Fondue. The very best thing about this hotel is the people that work to provide the service to you. From the chambermaids to the restaurant staff everything is designed to provide a first class service. I was very impressed and would not hesitate to return.
We stayed at Seespitz Hotel, it is located center of town, and you can return hotel skiing it is NOT SKI OUT but in. Foods id nice, all employees and boss are friendly snd helpful. Hotel located next to most busiest club and it makes lots of noise, don’t stay that side. Price is high, overall like hotel and team.
Generally hotel is great, the rooms are quite big, always clean and comfortable. SPA area is beautiful and has many types of sauna. However, we have been shocked by how the hotel is treating their guests. We were 15 people group (2 babies - 5 months and 1 year) and even though we wanted to sit with them at the lobby, it always smelled of cigarettes, because people were smoking at the bar and they opened the door so it smelled on all of the ground floor. Then at the dinner we were told that we must all come at the same time and no one will be served dinner until everyone is there. Even though we have babies and cannot always come with everyone, and sometimes we wanted to separate, but no, it is them who tells us how we can have the dinner, and not us deciding how we want to come to dinner and when during our holidays. Also we were surprised by how the owner of the hotel told us “I know in your countries it is not like this, you have everything on the table and eat everything together, but here it is a good restaurant and we serve food one by one” being really discriminating. Then when it was the time to check out, we thought it is supposed to be at 12.00 as it was almost everywhere. No one told us it was different here. But then at 11.18 we got a call to our room saying we are late for the check out, and when I asked to stay until 12, because we are with the baby and did not know that it is 11, we were told that no, and we had to ask at reception if we did not know when is the check out, and they were not supposed to tell us, so it is our problem. Then all our group (4 rooms) apart from ours (fifth) checked out before 11.30, and we checked out at 12, because we physically did not have time to pack the baby and ourselves faster, but still were charged 100 euros for late check out. Wanted to say, that at first we were really impressed by how amazing the hotel and the location is, but then the management ruined the whole impression and the worst was that when I told them at reception during check out about all this they answered that it is their hotel and we have to follow their rules, and if we don’t like something we should just leave, and talking about the baby the owner literally said that “maybe your baby must go to sleep before 11 and then you can come to dinner” meaning that it is our problem that our 5-month-old baby does not go to sleep before dinner, so that we could come when she wants us to. I am very disappointed by such management and the owner shouting at me, saying that she does not like me, and that I must leave and charging 100 euros for 30 mins late check out and such treatment of their guests. Do not recommend to go to this hotel in a group and if you are not German, you would feel very discriminated and be treated much worse comparing to them…
