Luxury in his purest The Kaiserhof is situated in a magical setting on a sunny plateau high above Ellmau – a veritable paradise all year around. Experience the combination of feeling good and culinary pleasures prepared by Austrian’s 2011 Chef of the Year – awarded with two hats by Gault Millau (2018). Add to this a breath-taking view from the 300m2 panorama terrace looking over the most famous Tyrolean mountain range: the Wilder Kaiser (“Wild Emperor”). Regain strength in our wellness oasis: Among many other awards, the Relax Guide recognised it with 2 lilies (2018). The panorama indoor pool and a natural swimming lake invite you to further linger and relax. The hotel’s own Beauty Farm is waiting for you with an exclusive beauty package.

My father made it possible for me to spend my skiing holiday in the beautiful Hotel Kaiserhof in my youth. Now I returned to the hotel with my husband and had the same feeling as then: the feeling of being at home. The first glance at the Wilder Kaiser during the journey already causes this "coming home" feeling in my stomach. The warm welcome at the reception and the visible joy of the employees that you are a guest again completes this feeling. The rooms are very spacious and furnished with love, as well as the entire hotel. The wonderful, varied food is always a highlight and leaves nothing to be desired. The family Lampert and its employees make every stay to something special by their open, friendly and hearty manner and one simply feels like at home. The view of the Wilder Kaiser and the beautiful surroundings is just “the icing on the cake“! The hotel is to be recommended for those, which look for homely, luxurious ambience with noble meal! Dear family Lampert, thank you very much for the wonderful days with you and we will come back very soon! Best regards, Anna & Andreas

We stayed at the Kaiserhof from 9 - 16 February 2019. The hotel is one of the better hotels I have stayed in and is certainly the BEST SKI hotel I have ever stayed in. A true ski in/out location - 25m from the boot room to the slopes. Lots of things to do on non ski days (spa, treatments, snow shoeing etc) and even free ski guiding from one of the staff. The owners (the Lamperts) are truly great "mine hosts" and all the staff are friendly, helpful and provide excellent service. With a special gala dinner night (make sure your stay includes a Friday night) wine tasting, organised visit to the kitchen etc it is a pleasure to be a guest at this wonderful hotel. The food is exquisite, and although a general selction for breakfast and dinner there are always a wide variety of "specials" which are truly amazing. The hotel has extended the traditional afternoon "coffee and cake" to a meal in itself - a great choice of meats, fish, breads, cakes etc. It goes without saying that the hotel is beautifully decorated with all the rooms, public rooms, restaurant (there are 5, I think) and bar spotlessly clean. This is not a traditional "Brit ski hotel" that you get with a package holiday. Perhaps a little more than a package holiday - but well worth it. The ski area is extensive with plenty of choice. The piste map can be a little confusing at first but after a day or so it drops into place. This is the fisrt time ever that our group have not visited other bars etc for apres ski - there was just no need! In conclusion - a great hotel, marvellous staff, fantastic food and location - highly recommended.

The public areas and the food are excellent and deserve the superior next to the 5 stars. Our suite was a little old and the house keeping lacked the little extra details. The beds were not very nicely done. Especially in the evening. Soap and shampoo were not refilled. Besides the stuff and the owner were great and very attentive.

It's a review that I did not want to write first, because I'm trying to make contradictory feelings about the hotel, which does not seem to me to be okay being the price. It's definitely not a 5-star superior hotel, but rather a superior 4-star hotel. The rooms, although I stayed at the suite, are basic, up to 4 stars. The spa area is beautiful and intimate, they have a swimming pool, but they do not have a jacuzzi. Instead, the courtesy is 5 stars, serving is 5 stars, and the chef is Michelin star. They have a sommelier and are very preoccupied with any kind of trouble you have.

This Hotel is set in a most beautiful setting with great facilities and the staff were outstanding when it comes to service. The directions to the Hotel were easy to follow. The food was of the highest quality and the tentative service gave you a feeling of wellbieng. The room opened out to its own private patio which bordered lovely gardens.Would stay again.
