We can highly recommend the Furstenhof guesthouse in Alpbach, Austria. The rooms are a good size ( we were given a large room being a party of three) and are very clean and tidy. The breakfasts are typically Austrian and very plentiful. The owner is very friendly, attentive and obliging- she cannot do enough for all of her guests some... More

We have just returned from an amazing holiday in Alpbach. We can highly recommend The Furstenhof Guest House. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfy! Breakfasts were great with excellent coffee and Marriane, the owner couldn't be more helpful; she is friendly and speaks great English. 😊

Furstenhof is a beautiful and reasonably priced guesthouse in Alpbach. It is spotlessly clean, has all amenities you could need and the owner goes out of her way to make you feel welcome and treats you like one of the family!

My Wife and daughter first stayed with Marianna at the Furstenhof some thirty four years ago and we as a family have been returning with our children and Grandchildren ever since, We manage to visit Alpbach at least four times a year mainly in the winter for skiing but sometimes in the summer for walking ......... during this time we... The town is wonderful; a lot of flowers (in summer). But you can only eat, drink, relax and walk. The realy interresting "Tal" (Vally) is next to Alpbachtal: Ötztal, Pitztal, Zillertal. The owner was not simpaty: she was always sitting in the breakfastroom and watching: When, what, how many you eat or drink!

We have just returned from a weeks stay in the Feurstenhof and were very happy with the accommodation and the service received. Our room was on the front of the building with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The room was clean and tidy and more than met our expectations. Breakfasts could be as much or as little as you... More

I have just returned from a weeks stay at the Furstenhof Guest House in Alpbach and was very happy with accommodation. The room was on the front of the building, with balcony and views of the ski slopes. Breakfast was plentiful, with a selection of cereals, breads, hams, cheeses, fresh fruits, juices, tea, coffee and even a boiled egg if... More

Stayed for a week through a Crystal Ski package. Clean and spacious room, very traditional, comfortable and warm. Heated racks downstairs for ski boots, and garage to store boards/skis/poles. Breakfast each day was a plentiful continental and a nice chance to chat with other guests and the hostess Marianne. Location at the top of the village was a ten minute... More

We recently stayed at the Guesthouse Fürstenhof in Alpbach booked with Thomson and for £119 each pre-upgraded to half board evening meals at the Hotel Alphof next door. I wouldn’t recommend the half board package as it isn’t good value for money. The food choice is limited (3 mains including 1 veggie, except on BBQ night), portions are small and... More
