Totally overrated hotel. Squashed into a small space between buildings. Tiny reception kitchen area tired looking furniture. Very small children's play area Steps steps everywhere and cars parked nearly on top of entrance. Avoid - there are so many wonderful four stars in Austria. This is an overpriced hostel. Awful.

We had a wonderful week's stay at this hotel over the Easter holiday. We all had a great holiday and each of my kid's needs was met, between the ski school arrangements for our 7 year old and the all-day day care for our 3 year old. And we got a true ski holiday, safe in the knowledge that our... More

I am writing this as I am still staying at the hotel with my husband and 3 kids. I cannot praise this hotel enough. It is exceptional! Simply exceptional! The quality of service, food, spa, etc. is the best I ever saw in any of the hotels (and I am quite spoilt). My kids said that they would want the... More

We had a great holiday here with our 5 year old daughter & my sister with her 2 year old. The only thing I could criticize would be the bathroom which was a little basic compared to everything else in the room, there was only a shower in the bath with panels which were a bit awkward. We stayed in... More

We stayed in Hagleitner hotel in a deluxe room (two bedrooms and a living room) for a week in January 2016. It is a cosy, friendly, well organized place. We could arrange the ski school for our older son through the hotel; ski passes for us as well; the slopes are about 200 meters away and there is a shuttle... More

Booked well in advance as we knew it'll fill up well before X-mas time! We are a family of four and our kids loved the place. It was our 3rd winter and 5th trip here... and was not disappointed. In fact we booked again for next year! Every one is doing an amazing job, but I want to mention Marco,... More

After going to this hotel three times, we will never stay at this hotel again. Unfortunately all three of our kids got really sick after spending 4 days at the hotel. Even though we had a few days left at the hotel, we left immediately and two of our children had to be taken to the hospital for a couple... More

We spent a week in this hotel with our 5 and 3 year old girls. Skiing slopes in the area - absolutely lovely! Plenty of snow as you can go quite high, with the elevator, and from there you can go down on very long and beautiful blue slopes, together with the kids - these are the most wonderful slopes... We spent a lovely week of ski holidays there and we enjoyed our 2nd stay in this hotel very much. Everything was perfect - accommodation, restaurant, service, polite staff. Only some Russian guests were too noisy, but that is not the liability of the hotel...

We have been 3 times to the Hagleitner hotel in Zell am See and we are always delighted. Great service, friendly staff, loads of activities for kids, excellent food... We always take the Sonnberg room as it is ideally located in the main building, with fantastic set-up for parents and kids. Love the place and plan to return 4 days... More
