Highly recommended. A family run hotel that offers great value for money with comfort and some style. Isabelle and her boyfriend run this place really well. Communication by email was easy. The hotel is below the main Alpendorf village, which means a bus ride up (15 minutes) and a ski down (snow permitting). The separation from Alpendorf drops the price, but you get super rooms, friendly service and a cosy family feel to the hotel. There's a small sauna and steam room, proper boot drying room and games room for kids in the basement. The food was fantastic, Rebecca and David from Hungary looked after us splendidly. The bar was a nice place to sit with friends after dinner. I really liked this place.......can you tell?

Spent a lovely relaxing week here with friends. The staff and owner of the hotel were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent and served with attention to detail. The rooms were spotless and the bathroom had a great shower with plenty of hot water. Loved the ski boot room, great to put warm boots on every morning. I would definitely stay there again.

An amazingly clean friendly hotel where the staff and the owner can not do enough to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms are basic but spotless and the maid who cleaned them every day did a fantastic job, even folded the night wear. The restaurant/bar staff were so attentive and always smiling and incredibly polite. The food was lovely the evening meal was a 4 course and always beautifully presented. Good wholesome food, exactly what you need after a day on a he slopes. We needed to get transfers so Isobelle mad sure everything was done for a smooth return. There were 3 ladies on this ski trip and we all said what a lovely family hotel this was. Well done and thank you

Be very careful about the room you will be given. Some rooms only have super-tiny windows. When we tried to make a complaint, we were told that windows are not guaranteed. In addition to the jail-like feeling, it is very hard to cool down the room in the summer so it can become very hot. Furthermore, when people smoke in the yard, the room becomes very smoky. Other than that, the hotel is nice, the location is nice, the area in not that filled with tourists. There is a lot of stuff for kids to do, incl. horse-riding, outdoor pool, etc. The food they provide is excellent, great selection of items for breakfast, very nice dinners (choice from two meals a day ahead).

My wife & I spent 6 nights half board there as part of a mostly pensioner 30 strong coach party. The hotel has a country house rather than a city hotel feel. The whole place appeared spotless & the staff especially friendly & helpful. The roomy bedrooms are on the 1st & 2nd floors. Unfortunately the hotel does not have a lift but the stairs are fine. Nice & wide with good handrails. The bedrooms are nicely furnished with plenty of storage hanging space. My good lady did not find any english language programs on the flatscreen TV. A good excuse to leave it turned off. The toilet & shower room also spotless had the added bonus of an adjustable shaving mirror. The shower itself had more than ample flow & I heard no complaints about lack of hot water. There is a free to use room safe. I think it could be beneficial adding. Please leave the safe door open when you vacate the room onto the safe instructions. The bar, sitting & dining rooms were tastefully dressed & again very clean. The food. Hot & cold buffet at breakfast & four course meal at night. The evening meal would be hard to beat. Well cooked & beautifully presented. I cleared my plate every night. Unfortunately leading to a little weight gain. The hotel has free to use Wi-Fi in the bedrooms & public areas. ( Code from the info board in reception. ) The is also a games room, toilets, sauna & wellness are in the sub ground floor. I only visited the toilets which were like the rest of the hotel of good quality & spotless. The grounds include a children's play area & some nice sun beds etc. But the thing that impressed me was the spring fed swimming pool. Not a sniff of chlorine. It brought back fond memories of bathing in our local river during my youth.
