Gamsjaga is a traditional, family-run guest-house / restaurant / inn / "pension" in a scenic location. -Rooms & Service- The service was OK. Not all staff speak English (most guests are locals), but some do. The rooms are simple but spacious. -Food- The best thing was breakfast. The buffet is very rich; better than in the executive lounge of the...

Certainly was a fine hotel. Here were the pros and cons. Pros: - Location: amazing, right on the clear lake. I stayed in this family hotel for a weekend to explore the area of Wolfgang and Hallstatt lakes. Since there were 3 of us travelling, we got room 9 which is something like a small flat with a kitchenette, a living room with a sofa with sleeping function, a double bedroom and bathroom. The rooms and bathroom were clean and...

This small pansion is a dream.Just infront of the lake.Everything is in order even in the smallest details. Very kind owners, very clean, excellent breakfact, great value for money. They serve dinner at the ground floor which is decorated with wood ornaments and its very convinient to dring your beers and then to go just upstairs to sleep.

Located on the lake it has a beautiful view, you can enjoy a nice dinner by the lake, the house is decorated very typically, it's pretty. Check in and check out is very informal you...

Stunning location at a very affordable price - right beside the Wolfgangsee, with a lovely outdoor dining terrace and a children's pirate ship playground. We had a reasonably sized family room with bunk beds and a double bed, which was clean and neat. Unfortunately our window opened onto the only road around the lake, which was very noisy in the...

The hotel is situated right on the seaside, and also right on the main road, off the local village. The main (and quite successful) business of the place is the restaurant, and it looks like running the hotel is not given a priority. We have received a family apartment, which actually comprised 2 double rooms with a piece of corridor,...
