We visited over new year 2024 , family of 4 , 2 adults , 2 teenage children . The welcome on our arrival was warm, and inviting . Staff were aware that our stay was due to my husbands 60th birthday and they quietly asked if it was OK to make him a cake . That was a lovely touch . We had 2 inter joining junior suites which were traditional in style , very comfortable , spacious and good storage . On arrival in our rooms was water , pastries and fruit again a nice touch . The boot room was first class . Each room had a specific locker for your skis/board , poles and boots. No fighting for space !!! Boots were dry and warm the next morning , again made life so much easier . The facilities at the hotel such as swimming pool , sauna , Jacuzzi etc were amazing . Clean , constant supply of fresh towels and helpful staff . There was a quiet room with beautiful comfortable beds , fresh flavored water and blankets. If you needed away from the kids for some head space , this is the place to go . The location of the hotel was ideal , 2 mins in either direction and you are at the major lifts. Queues were fast moving as all lifts and gondolas were modern and scooped everyone up very quickly so relatively minimal time standing around . The meals/ breakfast were first class . The selection at breakfast was unreal , something for everyone's tastes from freshly prepared fruit to cooked breakfast from bread and cheese to freshly made belcher, cereals for the children , large selection of hams and fruit to take away . The only improvement I would make would be to add another coffee machine , but this is not a deal breaker, the standard of food far out wayed only 1 coffee machine . The afternoon snacks were a selection of pastries and cold pasta/ salad . Again unbelievably tasty and all at a high standard of presentation . Staff were so friendly , helpful and extremely engaging which was lovely . The evening meals were fantastic , loads of variation and accommodated vegetarians . Never had the same combination all week , always something new and exciting on the menu . Hats off to the chef !! ...on our last day we were leaving early , but that was not a problem for the staff , we were handed 4 x packed breakfasts , with sandwich baps , fruit , drinks and chocolate bar . nothing was a problem for the staff , so very accommodating . all in all our stay was amazing , and I would definitely return.

Our family of 4 stayed here. We had a wonderful ski trip and Das Neu Haus was an excellent place to stay right in the heart of Saalbach. We were half board and enjoyed an extensive selection of wonderful cooked and cold breakfast options. These included breakfast cereals, cheeses and cold meats etc . A chef cooked omlettes to order with your choice of ingredients. The freshly cooked croissants were a firm favourite and they had a large selection of bread. Evening dinner was 5 courses with 3 options for main course including 1 vegan. An extensive wine menu.
The food was delicious and the staff helpful, efficient and friendly. The bedrooms were all modern with very comfortable beds and wonderful showers. The hotel facilities were clean, top quality and well looked after. The ski locker room had tall lockers for each room number with in-locker heated boot dryers.
The location couldn't have been better with a short walk to both ski lifts and apres ski bars. If you stay here do use the leisure facilities which includes pool, steamroom, sauna, quiet area for relaxation with swings. The views from the pool area would be magic in summer with views onto the mountain.
The front desk staff were keen to give assistance, local knowledge of ski runs, places to eat on the mountains and après ski locations.
We would highly recommend Das Neu Haus as a place to stay. It ticked all boxes for us.

The location of the hotel is great, in the middle of Saalbach and a 1-minute walk to the gondola. Unfortunately, we had the impression that the majority of the room rate was due to the central location.
We did not perceive the evening meal, which is described as a 5-course gourmet menu, as such. The quality of the food and the presentation of the individual courses did not meet our expectations for a 4*S hotel or for the price we paid per night.
The friendliness of the staff, both at reception and in the restaurant, the cleanliness in all areas of the hotel and the breakfast with a fresh and varied selection are positive aspects.

We stayed at Neuhaus for a week as a ski party of four.

All staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel's facilities are very good. Its central location within easy walking distance of three lifts make it a good location, and a boot room with secure, room specific lockers avoided the usual morning 'melee' to find skis etc. Its central location does, though, mean that there's a lot of noise from late night revellers into the early hours. Deliveries from 5.30am onwards also means a lot of noise under some room windows, so be sure to discuss room allocation! Though it didn't affect us, there's a basement club too which I heard some guests complaining about noise penetrating their room and exploring a room change.

The spa facilities are excellent, though it was disappointing to see few people respecting custom when using the sauna/steam room etc. despite repeated signage from the hotel management and messaging in the daily news sheet on breakfast tables. One must respect individual modesty, I suppose?

Though the range of breakfast foods was excellent throughout, our collective disappointment was with the inconsistent standard of dining service each evening. There were clearly insufficient staff to cover three busy dining rooms, with our own assigned waiter/server easily distracted each evening by bigger groups who were spending more money on wine etc. Twice, our table was only half-cleared with dirty plates being left on the table for over half an hour until we had to signal for him to remove them. Consequently, and exceptionally, we did not leave a tip which is most unusual for our party.

Would we stay again? Possibly, but we would hope for a better evening dining experience, and quieter rooms.

We were with the family on vacation. Service was very accommodating and friendly. The food was unfortunately absolutely not what we had hoped for based on the pictures. We had two pizzas and a barbecue plate. Pizzas were lower average, only the grill plate (€ 37,-) was unfortunately absolutely not worth the money. Three pieces of meat. Were ok, fries were about 10 pcs. At the plate. Pepper sauce was very hot and out of the bag. Grilled vegetables, if you should call it that, were with Ebly, so not gluten-free. Although it was not on the menu, but as a person with celiac disease, I assume that there are no products with gluten in grilled vegetables. I left it out and hope for the best. On the whole, unfortunately, it can be said that price performance absolutely does not fit. Service was good as I said, but the kitchen leaves a lot of room for manoeuvre upstairs.

If there were 6 stars I would award it. Our favorite holiday was made even more enjoyable at Das Neuhaus hotel by the fact that it is ocated centrally in Saalbach with a pick of 3 gondolas at your fingertips there is little want for anything more. From morning to evening, everything is sublime. The breakfast buffet is a thing of dreams with an exquisite omelette bar served with a smile. The dinner is a culinary experience, night on night consistency that is rarely seen in hotels I have travelled. 5 star 5 course meals that tickle you taste buds and an exceptional cheese buffet to finish if your were to fancy. The spa and pool area is excellent with Pool, hot tubs, steam and sauna rooms. The gym and swinging room also offer respite looking out to a Mountain View if it’s so desired. To top all this off the friendly personable staff make your stay a slice of heaven. It’s no wonder we have made a return visit just two months later and hopefully will be coming back for another piece of a winter wonderland!

This was the seventh time we were guests at das Neuhaus. Always in the summer. We'll be back. Great service and personal follow-up.
High quality of all meals. The room was as usual clean and well equipped.
The scheme with the Joker card that gives you free access to elevators and much more in areas is brilliant.

The Neu Haus Hotel is in a fantastic location, in the centre of Saalbach. It is ideal for skiing enthusiasts, as it is just a short walk from the ski lift, and has a great equipment room with individual heated lockers assigned per room. The bedrooms are well appointed , clean and warm. We had a really lovely family room which our girls loved. Everyone loved the spa area, there is something for everyone to enjoy with the relaxing room, swimming pool, saunas, steam room etc. We were on a half board plan, and assigned our own table for our whole stay. The food was really delicious and plentiful. Most of all though, was the genuine welcome we received from all of the staff, their friendliness and attention was really lovely. We are already looking forward to our next trip!

No bubbles in the proseco, had to send out and then it came back with bubbles. After 1h 6/7 food arrived, the cold dish took another 10 minutes. Fish good, but meat and risotto not to be remembered. Head waiter like Fawlty Towers, rushing by and splashing some wine in glases. Not worth the money at all.

Dear Erik, For the sake of politeness, I thank you for the review. Leaving the restaurant and writing a review right away is often the first action when guests are not satisfied. This is our problem, because the fact that on this evening about 60 people left our restaurant highly satisfied is not represented. We immediately replaced the prosecco and you received a new one?! The restaurant was occupied to the last table, we are sorry that this caused waiting times ... but at least our waiter gave you more wine, even if in a wrong way according to your opinion - we still did our best to give you a nice evening. That we did not meet your taste is of course also regrettable. Since you were not a house guest, we are sorry that you could not enjoy the evening and left our restaurant again. We are unfortunately not familiar with Fawlty Towers, but we will look at it at the next opportunity. Continued all the best to you, stay polite and healthy, Julia Breitfuß and the kitschen & service team
