after saving all year to bring my family a party of 10 to mayrhofen a place i love, the travel day was long ,we were all tired ,so when we arrived at landhaus rosher ,we were asked to fill out the tax form for local tourist board, the manager of the hotel gunther started shouting at me,and then my daugher he acctualy left her in tears ,he was the rudest man i have ever met,an absoulute pig,the rep from our travel company was shivering with fear ,there was a strong smell of alcohol from him it ruined our stay at this miserable dirty accomodation, the breakfast was mean ,and not very fresh, but i suppose thats why its allways the cheapest place in mayrhofen i will never learn, but hopefully you might from our horrible experiance.

If you’re over for Altitude or Snowbombing this place is ideal, close enough to everything (shops, restaurants, venues, lifts) to get there on foot with your equipment, but just tucked away enough that you can get some peace and quiet.

Stayed for Altitude & Snowbombing festivals. Was excellent. Close to town and no problems. Would recommend for anyone who’s staying for those festivals and beyond. The views from the balcony were also brilliant

Me and my family stayed here for the duration of Altitude comedy festival. We booked three rooms and the staff were kind enough to keep us all together next door to each other. Each room was very clean, spacious, came with a private balcony and the beds were very comfy. A big part of our stay was the fact there was no noise bleed from any of the other rooms which was perfect. Every morning we were welcomed with breakfast upstairs, a lovely spread with lovely staff. A 5min walk to center of Mayrhofen, so easy access to food, the shops, the ski lift (ideal when wearing ski boots). Couldn’t recommend this place anymore, will definitely be returning.

I had a lovely 1 week stay here while working at a festival. The accommodation itself is very rustic and traditional and the beds super comfortable. The location is excellent and the breakfast, while simple is perfect to fill you up before a day on the slopes. Highly recommend.

Stayed while attending the Altitude Comedy Festival. Great hotel, great people. 3 min walk to the main town, parking on site too. Breakfast: a good selection of cold meats, breads. Also cereal and juices. Coffee and tea too. Nice rooms, depending on where your room is, the view is breath taking. But even the worst view was still good. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone. I would definitely stay here again.

We booked the Landhaus as a package deal with Ski Direct and stayed here in January 2018. We did not look at the hotel reviews before booking and to be honest after booking I was horrified after seeing so many bad reviews on trip advisor. I was dreading coming to the hotel. It is a two star hotel and it is basic but it served its purpose for us - somewhere to sleep at night. We left every morning early to ski, once the lifts closed we usually went to the bars for a few drinks sometimes stayed out until we were ready for our bed or other times nipped back for a quick shower and then back out to the bars again. We spent very little time in the hotel apart from sleeping. We had a room facing the forest at the back and every morning it was beautiful sitting on the balcony listening to the sound of the birds chirping. It was very quiet and peaceful with a lovely view of the snow covered trees. The hotel is about a 5 - 10 minute (easy) downhill stroll to the town strip and gondola. The location for me was perfect as everything was in walking distance but we were far enough away at night from all the noise. There was no issue with noise. Rooms were basic and tired looking but very warm and clean. Breakfast was again basic (no hot food options) but again this was fine for us. I'd recommend paying to rent out a locker at the top of the gondola for the week and leaving your skis /boots etc there every evening. Skiing in Mayrohofen was fantastic can't recommend it enough. It's a quiet hotel with not alot going on there is a small seating area at the entrance/lobby. No bar. There are plenlty of great places for apri ski in Mayrhofen. Gunter the owner was friendly and welcoming. It's basic accommodation but it's warm, clean, in a nice quiet location but close proximity to everything at the same time. People just need to remember the price they paid to stay here compared to the price of the luxury hotels in the resort. If you're only looking for somewhere warm and clean to rest your head at night I'd definitely recommend this hotel , if you are looking for a little bit of luxury, to spend more time in your hotel eg relaxing at your hotel bar in the evenings etc then this hotel wouldn't be for you.

We arrived a day late due to travel complications, Gunther was ready and expecting us and extremely helpful. I’ve spent a few seasons in Mayrhofen and this is a great location, downhill walk to the Penken or a 7 minute flat walk to the Ahorn. Breakfast is basic but more than enough and the staff are extremely helpful. Dinner is at a restaurant 250m away and a very pleasant walk past the ice rink. Rooms are basic but this is reflected in the price, lovely view of the Ahorn from the balcony rooms. Locker room with boot Warmer and ski/board racking.

We stayed in Landhaus Roscher the last week of February and we could not say one bad word about the place. Gunther and his staff could not have been more than welcoming and friendly. The guesthouse was spotless and everything we could have asked for in relation to facilities , cleanliness and safety. You can tell Gunther has a real passion for his guests comfort and takes so much pride in his establishment. We were sad to leave and will and already have recommended Landhaus Roscher to friends. We will definitely be returning.
