An exceptional hotel where the staff go above and beyond to make every guest feel welcome and valued. From the moment we arrived, the reception team was incredibly helpful, even providing us with a kettle to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. The restaurant experience was equally impressive—Palmera and her wonderful team delivered impeccable service, perfectly complementing the outstanding cuisine. The housekeeping staff were always warm and attentive, ensuring our room was spotless and that we had everything we needed. This hotel truly stands out with its excellent food, charming ambiance, and a team that genuinely cares about its guests. A perfect stay in every way!

Great hotel! With wellness
Been going here for years!
Nice staff! Nice rooms, take room with balcony! Breakfast and dinner are great and also get better and more luxurious every year.
It does get more expensive every year but you also see that there is investment, important point for improvement: for third year in a row there is a drink bill on my room number that is not mine, guests can just mention a number and the waiter notes that, so you can stay there very cheaply... just mention a random number, we always pay for all drinks immediately, but still there is always drink on my room number. Very irritating point, several family members in several years recognize this, they say they have only paid it but also think that more is charged that has been used.
Points of improvement:
Large groups of English men often make noise at dinner and (I think) grab skies randomly in the morning when they leave in the morning. It wasn't until the end of the week that I was able to get my own branded ski poles back. So next year, I'll be putting locks around my skies and poles.

Stay here for the first time in my 36 visits to Mayrhofen, what a great stay in the Hotel. The Staff were very good and friendly. The room I had was very good. Breakfast was very nice indeed , could have spent the whole morning eating the wonderful choice for breakfast. The evening meal was also just as good as breakfast, salad to start with, then a starter, choice of 2 soups, and 3 choices of the main meal and a nice dessert to finish off the meal. If you were still hungry, you could have had cheese and biscuits.
There was a nice Lounge bar to relax, with live music on from 8.30pm. The Hotel is in the quite part of Mayrhofen, near the railway station, so you got a very nice sleep, waking up refreshed for the next days skiing.
The spa area was fantastic, a family area as well as a adult area.

My husband and I arrived on the 28th Dec having booked to stay at Hotels Neuhaus, Landhaus a wing of the resort via Crystal Ski. We had stayed here before and were happy with the 3 star budget option. On arrival the resort was obviously very busy and the family checking-in in front of us were with the Crystal rep who was telling them there had been a terrible mistake and there was no rooms for them. Something has gone very wrong for this resorts booking process and after further 45 mins of confusion with our room we were told we were to be ‘upgraded’ and moved to the St Josef wing of the resort, I have never been so disappointed with a hotel room ever. See photos, if this was an ‘upgrade’ I would have hated to see our original room. The shower was basically a tap with a hose attached, the bath and toilet were so badly stained the bath was just unusable. The sink ceramic was chipped and filled and there was an unsealed hole under the bath full of debris. I honestly think they ran out of rooms and put us in the staff quarters. We spoke to the housekeeper and she did not even know were our room was! I just find it strange that they can pay €30 million for a new beautiful Spa complex and they can’t replace bathrooms like this. We are still at the hotel, only 1 day to go, we have complained but hotel are not interested, they have our money and are almost aggressive argumentative when you tell them you don’t want there ‘upgrade’ just the original room we booked. Beware of booking one room and being offered and unwanted upgrade?

We stayed for a week in one of the beautifully decorated Penthouse Suites over New Year's Eve and felt very comfortable in the modern and tastefully decorated room.

The absolute highlight was the new wellness area. We have not experienced anything like it in a hotel. Absolutely incredible.

The breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired and exceeded our expectations. A special highlight was the juicer, where apples, carrots and ginger could be prepared themselves. The selection of cereals, breads, dried fruits & co. has also convinced. Fresh orange juice and a larger selection of fruits would have been great, but the lack of them did not worsen the overall impression.

We only have to give deductions for dinner. The service was impeccable and also the presentation not at all objectionable - taste-wise the (by the way very extensive selection!) could be improved a bit here.

All in all, however, we are happy to give the full score for this beautiful hotel!

This is our second stay in this hotel and it’s still amazing as it was during our first time (part of our half- board ski holiday package). Hotel is very centre, just a 10-15 min walk from Penkenbahn station (there is a free shuttle bus just across the hotel if you don’t feel like walking with your ski shoes), train station just across the hotel when we went for our Innsbruck/ Munich tour, 2 min walk from the ski rental shop, and so much more. Room wise, we love their traditional Austrian room as we see its full character and history of the hotel but if you opt to stay in their sleek and elegant rooms, it is in their newly built building (Badehaus) where their new spa and sauna +pools are situated, hopefully we’ll try on our next ski holiday. Food wise, you always have your permanent table all through out your stay, from day 1 onwards, so if you don’t feel comfortable in your dining table, speak to the reception right away so they can change it (I recommend their Obstgarten for couples) :) buffet breakfast, free desserts in the afternoon, and fancy dining set up (ask for english menu) with all you can eat salad. This hotel has a lot to offer (cinema, bowling, spa and sauna+pool) all perfect for a family getaway. Lastly, their staff are the masterpiece of this review too many nice people to mention but we remember (Marco, Fotis, Alina, and Giorge/Giorgos) that always make our holiday extra special. Don’t forget the live band singer at night Willy! Surely and definitely coming back next ski holiday. Only at Neuhaus where we felt it’s home away from home. :)

I would like to give 4.5 out of 5. I had a very good impression of the week at this hotel, although there are some minor shortcomings. The rooms are large and spacious. We were given 2 rooms for our family, connected by a door on the inside, which we really liked. One of the rooms was corner and cold; they immediately gave us an extra radiator. There was not enough trash can in the other room. These are the only complaints. The hotel has a good spa area with a swimming pool. It is divided into two parts. Downstairs is the 16+ area, there are steam rooms and a hot sauna. You can bring children upstairs, there is a warm sauna, a jacuzzi, an indoor pool and a pool with access to the street.
The hotel has a skyroom. The location of the hotel is good, close to a skibus stop and a train station.
The food is beyond praise. Delicious and plentiful breakfasts. Large selection of cheeses, breads, croissants. There are our own dairy products, our own barn opposite, and the milk is fresh even in coffee machines. A large amount of different honey, there are even honeycombs with honey separately. Dinner a la carte menu. There is a menu for vegans and vegetarians. Everything is very delicious! But be prepared for the fact that not all waiters speak English. It was strange when English is not understood, although there are many English and other foreigners in the hotel. Overall, I really liked the hotel.

Another lovely stay in the Neuhaus. We were in the St Josef annex as booked, with a lovely room with balcony overlooking the bus and railway station. Ideal for monitoring train arrival for trips down the valley and only 2 min walk! Also only a short walk across to the main hotels for meals. The tunnel was good for when raining or going to the pool. Breakfast among the best we have had in Austria and the table d’hote evening meal was of a very high standard with additional ice cream and/cheese for desert if required. Not to be missed were the afternoon cakes. Charge for tap water is a bit annoying but standard in Austria, but to counter the staff kept our wine and water bottle for the next night without asking. All in all an excellent week and we will be back.

Very pleasant and friendly staff. You shouldn't expect any special requests, but the staff make an effort nonetheless. We were in the Loft by the Lake, beautiful. Please label the cheese at the cheese buffet and give guests a little more time to eat at the dinner table. Sometimes it goes very quickly, or too quickly. We were served by Alina. Everyone can take Alina as an example, top service - very attentive and extremely friendly - thank you Alina for your kindness!

In the period from 12 January 2025 to 19 January 2025, stayed at hotel Neuhaus. Large and imposing hotel upon entering. Room was neat but very old and dark in the roof, fridge in the room but didn't really cool. Lamp broken in the shower, reported and was fixed immediately! Cleaner very friendly helpful. New wellness beautiful and very large, TOP, too bad you can not get in the outdoor jacuzzi inside. Bar nice and with good staff. Restaurant, very large and impersonal, breakfast reasonably good, arranged dirty dishes and egg preparations mostly cold, dinner NOT good, dubious quality, poorly served, chaos among the staff, no decent management. The hotel owner and his wife do not make the slightest effort to be friendly, do not even look at their guests. Friday January 17 was the grand opening of the bathhouse and there was reception, hotel guests were ignored as if they were not there. The dinner went completely wrong that night, and was even worse than before. We will definitely not be back, was definitely not worth the 2600 euros for 1 week with 2. Unfortunately!

Movie bar is just next door and owned by hotel. Failing that there is a Sports bar on the main street no more than 10 minutes walk away. Hope this helps.

Hi. No I don't think they would get bored at all. There is a kids playground in the garden with swing, slide, zip line etc plus indoor and outdoor swimming pools. The garden is huge with loads of sun beds and swinging seats. Inside there is bowling, table tennis, pool. There is a cinema attached too but we didn't use it so I don't know if they show films in English or not. There was only one choice of kids meal a day. I had it one day because I didn't like the adult choice and it was actually a bigger portion! (Fish fingers). Check out the Zillertal Arena at Zell am Ziller (a few stops down on the train that goes from right outside hotel) there is a 'coaster' ride (sit on a tray with brakes and whizz down the hillside... Your kids could sit on your laps). GREAT fun and if you go on the cable car to the top there is a massive kids playground. Great fun at top of Ahorn mountain too.

The answer is no and the hotel has a lovely indoor pool as well as a small outdoor one if the weather is hot enough.
