This is a very good hotel. Staff is súpur friendly and nice. Food is out of this world. We have been staying here fór almost a week. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. In my room I dont hear any noise. They clean the room every day and dont make any fuss about that.

Despite spending 70 euros the owner felt like she could talk to us like rubbish. Avoid with children. The food okay but she spoilt the experience. I have been to Filzmoos 15-20 times and this is the first time I have been treated like this. We spent all day looking for somewhere to eat traditional food too

Stayed in the annex of the hotel for a week the beginning of March for our honeymoon. The annex is huge and the room was lovely with a hob and kettle too in the little kitchen, couldn’t believe how big the room was! The hotel is beautiful, the pool is lovely and the restaurant food is amazing. You get given the same table every night for dinner so it’s a nice to know where you will be each day and not wait to be seated. Our waiter was lovely even though we didn’t speak the same language (our fault) and the cafe in the hotel does the best hot food for lunch. Really close to ski lifts for skiing or for walks up the mountain. Really good location in the village and the staff are all so friendly. We had to come home after a week when we had booked for 2 because of the covid19 situation and were absolutely devastated, we could’ve stayed here forever.

Big kick! Owner very arrogant and rough. At booking.com they have completely different photos than where they eventually housed us. We booked the hotel because of the sauna and swimming pool in the house. Unfortunately, they pushed us out of the hotel. Terrible behavior. No discount :-(

Nice cosy hotel. The rooms and beds are comfortable and their hospitality is great. Drinks are reasonably priced and friendly staff. Breakfasy buffet is outstanding and each night they serve a creative dinner with several courses with an option for meat, fish or vegetarian. The location of the hotel is great very close to the slopes. Surely recommendation.

Our appartment was across the road, only 3 minute walk from the hotel. Breakfast was good, even the lunch package was set on the breakfast table every day (water, fruit, bread and chocolate/cookies). We could indicate our dinner choice, which was always satisfactory. Also for the children there is a special menu. Hanneshof is large, but the way it is setup, it makes you feel you are in a cosy place with special attention. The apartment is spacious and clean. The swimming pool was excellent. I would definitely stay here again!

We chose this hotel for its size and location some 24 years ago, and liked it so much that we have returned each year since. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, the food and service in the restaurant are second to none and we always receive a warm welcome from the owners. Our usual holiday consists daily of a leisurely breakfast, a walk in the snow, a swim in the indoor pool and a relaxing dinner in the excellent restaurant, and thus it was last week, when the perfect weather proved ideal for the 8th Hanneshof Balloon Festival - which although not the reason for our visit certainly added something to it. The disadvantage of visiting at this time is that the hotel is a little more crowded than usual, and dinner can be a more noisy affair than we would prefer, but we accept this. What slightly spoiled our visit on this occasion was that on our last night, with the Balloon crowd having departed, a huge group of people, probably more than 30, had arrived and caused mayhem in the restaurant by shouting across the room to each other or changing tables, with the children in the party running around seemingly unsupervised by their parents. I would hate to think that the hotel's policy is now to market it for groups such as this, rather than mainly couples as it has been in the past, because if this is how it is to be in the future we may think again before re-booking. Perhaps we were just unlucky on that last night. I do hope so.

My wife and I have been to Austria 67 times for our holidays and returning to the Hanneshof for our 14th visit, as on previous occasions received a very warm and friendly welcome from the Mayr family. We requested a Junior Suite and found this to be very comfortable using the larger of the two bedrooms and the cosy sitting area with TV and facilities for making hot drinks was appreciated. The kitchen provided, an excellent selection of menus all served with efficiency and politeness by the restaurant staff. A Gala Dinner of five courses made a special evening. The breakfast buffet had a very wide selection of cold and hot dishes cooked to order. The dining room has a typical Austrian feel to it with plenty of natural wood, There is a comfortable bar/lounge area where drinks and light snacks are available most of the day. Whilst we did not use them, although the winter season had yet to commence, all the other facilities in the hotel were available. All areas of the hotel including our room were cleaned daily and kept to a high standard. We hope to return again in the not too distant future.

We stayed at the Hanneshof Hotel in January 2016 for our wedding. As a large party consisting of adults and young children we picked the hotel as it had loads of different accommodation types for families of all sizes. The hotel has brilliant amenities for children and the food is amazing. Staff were very friendly and the hotel provides good discounts on ski passed and hire charges. We would definitely return to this hotel.
