The hotel is situated in the centre of town but well away from the main road so is very peaceful. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. We had a great view over the town up to the mountain opposite. The food is fantastic, Michelin standard and with wonderful service. And the value? We paid €1000 for the week for... More

If first impressions are important: we were very warmly welcomed, as if we were the first two guests ever to arrive. Routine practice?, forget it. This owner and his staff really make you feel more than welcome. We were given a spacious (corner) room on the first floor. Very pleasant view of the brook and the ski slopes in the... More

Delightful family run hotel. We had some interesting conversations in German with the owner. Most of the staff have excellent English. Our room faced the church so was a little noisy with the church bells. However, the food more than made up for that. It was 5 star quality & so plentiful. Excellent value too. We made good use of... Back again in Filzmoos for the balloon fiesta. The hotel staff welcomed us back and again provided a very comfortable stay. The food was good although sometimes all the courses got too much and we ate solidly for four days. The most impressive thing that this hotel delivers is real value for money. The ever present and hard working Sabrina... More

This hotel in the remote ski resort town of Filzmoos was a total surprise. It was tastefully decorated and in the beginning didn't seem like anything extraordinary. I got a corner single (Room 215) and the balcony was huge. The room was meticulously clean and there's even floor heating in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable and soft and the... More

So impressed with this warm family run traditional hotel, all of the staff care and it shows. We have just spent six nights here with family and friends and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel is clean and the rooms are comfortable, the bathroom is small but perfectly acceptable. Where they really score here is the food quality and service. Every... More

My daughter and I stayed here in September. We had a spacious room with a balcony looking over the mountains behind. All very comfortable and excellent bathroom. Only minor gripe was the squeezy soap on the wall. Other comparable hotels had better. The best breakfast of our trip with an amazing amount of choice. Everyone very friendly. I was keen to... More

Hotel is situated in the center of idyllic alp town Filzmoos. From Filzmoos most attractions in Salzburg Land and western Styria are within reach by only a short drive. Tauern Autobahn A10 is 5 minutes drive from the hotel. If you are into the site-seeing by car, this is a very good place. Staff of the hotel is super friendly... More
