The staff was very nice and friendly. The room has a lot to say, very simple, tv was very small, old furniture. This is not a Resort hotel, misleading. The beach si more for young surfers than anything else. Sand is very dark and not for swimming. The pool area is very nice and pretty, the surroundings is very clean, grass is kept nice and neat.
This hotel has a lot going for it. It has a great location with a large pool overlooking the beach. The rooms are nice with incredibly comfortable beds. However, the hotel needs to provide more shade from the brutal sun. There are only four palaces around the pool. By 8am every morning, they were taken by families with small children. The other chairs around the pool and those facing the beach have no umbrellas or any type of shade whatsoever. Even the restaurant and bar which are covered offer no respite from the sun in the afternoon when the sun slants in hitting all the tables. The only place to escape is to retreat to your room.
The location and room were great but watch your stuff, petty thievery is rampant. numerous small item went missing from our rooms, phone chargers, socks, shirts, even bras. Items you don't check until needed.
I was totally charmed by my bungalow (category = king suite). It was beautiful and well appointed with a modernist sink and hard wood floors throughout. The staff was all wonderful and well trained. My complaints are that we met so many nice staff members and they all told the same story about how they could work up to 16 hours a day. These were people with families and small children. I implore the management to reduce the hours required of workers and supplement instead hiring additional help. My other kind of significant complaint is that the sprinklers were always on, and were constantly spraying walkways. Find if you're in your swimwear, but not ok if going to dinner. You either have to just get wet, or make a dangerous slippery run for it to dodge the sprinklers. Some of the guests are elderly (one I saw was legless in a wheelchair) or wearing fancy clothing for special occasions. I would not want to be one of those people trying to get past the sprinklers. Seriously, the sprinklers were almost constantly on between Tuesday night and Saturday morning from what we saw. It is a great inconvenience for the guests. The hotel management should invest in better sprinklers that target the grass, or adjust their position so guests don't get sprayed. Overall, we had a nice stay because the people who work here are so nice and the bungalows are so comfortable, but they can do better than what we got.…
This resort is located in the quiet part of town, beachfront, with an oversized pool and deck. The rooms are well equipped and the beds comfortable. Beautiful gardens all around the well distributed cabins.
