Detailed Reviews
We live in Pedasi and have never before tried Casa De Campo. Tonight my husband, a friend and I decided to finally give it's try. We were not disappointed. In fact, we were pleasantly surprised.
I can't believe we never tried it before.
Pictured below are the 3 delicious meals we had and our impressive dessert.
The Filete de res al Ajillo was a juicy, tender, pink medium rare as ordered.
The Pescado a la Bilbaína was a succulent, firm, piece of tasty fish covered in a savory green sauce.
The Pollo al Ajillo was a tender chicken breast in garlic sauce that was cut into bite size pieces. I added it to my crispy fresh garden salad.
Our dessert was sweet, and perfectly covered with fired, crisp sugar. We all had the Crema Catalana, a soft cream brúlée.
The restaurant was peaceful and quiet.
We will surely go back.
Amazing!

Very nice hotel. Beautiful Spanish style. We slept very well. We enjoyed breakfast served by Gladis every morning with fresh mango and papaya, fresh orange-mango juice. Everything is nicely maintained. It was nice to have a dip in the pool at the end of the day.

We stayed in their best room and it was gorgeous. Comfy bed, luxurious tub, great shower, huge room, lovely pool. About 3K to the Pacific Ocean - a long, soft sand beach with good waves and hardly any people on it. The staff were friendly and helpful.

When I arrived the hotel was closed for business. My reservation was confirmed and I text the property about my arrival. No one ever reached out to tell me the hotel was closed. I received a bill to show me what the balance was going to be and still no word of any closure. I was stuck in a foreign country and having a language barrier made it 10 times worse. The property owner have not reached out to me about what happened or with an apology. Thank God my taxi driver knew of another accommodation for me after waiting for almost an hour with no resolution. This has been the worst experience I have ever had as a visitor to a foreign country. I was so embarrassed!!! I will never ever try to go to this property ever again

These folks are money hungry. I had to cancel our reservation a week before we were going to stay there because of events beyond our control. They informed us that they are going to keep our deposit and that it is non refundable. I don't remember being told this or reading it on there site. First time I have ever had someone keep a deposit, and I have traveled all over the world, especially when no services were offered. Tells me a lot.

Husband & I spent 2 nights (not nearly enough) at Casa de Campo in April, 2012. We had gone to Panama City for the International Living conference & based on some research, had decided we wanted to scope out Pedasi. Used Tripadvisor & other sites to do some research. We happily chose to stay with Koby & Ovidio-great choice! You can't miss "Casa", it's right on the main streets as you drive into town, yet once you walk inside the front door or gate, you feel as if you are in a secluded other world. There are only 5 rooms (excluding Koby/Ovidio private quarters). We stayed in 1 of the 2 rooms immediately poolside (bear in mind that 2 of the other rooms are perhaps 4 feet from the pool...). The benefit of the poolside rooms is the spaciousness & AMAZING bathroom. Our room had the kind of comfy well appointed bed you don't want to get out of.....high beamed ceilings, polished concrete floors, beautifully hand crafted wooden furniture, flowy yet private curtains, great lighting- simply gorgeous. Bathroom was very large & closets were located there, sort of a dressing room feel to the area. Sinks we're polished concrete, new & everything was so clean. I'm not really a bathtub person, but I couldn't resist, polished concrete, free standing, bath salts & flowers nearby. The shower was open, yet private, very spacious & a very aesthetically pleasing mix of wood, stone & polished concrete. The whole room felt like the perfect combination of local beauty, nature & the finest of materials. We had breakfast there in the mornings, great coffee & several choices of eggs, fruit & pastry + juice. The common areas were impeccably groomed, lush, tropical yet the lines felt incredibly clean & at the same time had a Spanish colonial vibe. We had appetizers & drinks by the pool-delicious! The "staff" were kind, helpful & more than available without being intrusive at all. Koby & Ovidio are truly lovely people who obviously care a great deal about their guests experience & comfort. It's like they thought of everything. Wish we had stayed longer. We will definitely be back. There did seem to be other nice accommodations in the area, but several folks we met throughout our week in Panama echoed that Casa was by far & away the best place to stay in Pedasi.
Note-no tv in the room-we loved this, but be aware if this is important to you. There was a casita area with tv & lounge chairs.

Ovidio and Koby have developed a unique and delightful B&B concept in the little town of Pedasi, Los Santos, Panama. Situated on the main street through Pedasi, these beautifully landscaped two acres prove a delight to the senses, and offer the ultimate in comfort.
The rooms are spacious, and although somewhat sparse, you will certainly sleep well in the clean and comfortable beds. The rain showers provide exactly that - a feeling of the tropical rain so prevalent in Panama! The pool is large enough for lengths, or frolic all you wish. The gardens, including the hundred-year old magnificent Mango tree are well-maintained, and a welcome respite from a hectic vacation of surfing, sight-seeing, fishing, sunning, and diving that can be found in this lovely Azuero Peninsula of Panama.
Breakfast is served daily from 7:30 until 10:00 and includes fruit, juice, Panamanian coffee and a tasty choice of eggs, french toast, or other selections. The friendly staff are helpful and welcoming, and even Zack, the pet dog, greets you each morning.

My wife and I first stayed at Casa de Campo in early March of 2011 on our second visit to Pedasi. We were very pleased with the spacious, well decorated room, nice size pool, common areas and grounds in general. From the street I didn't get the impression the facility had all this to offer.
The wonderfull, freindly hospitality displayed by the staff and management during our first stay made our choice for further accomodations a simple one. Ovidio, Koby and staff have a knack for making one feel at home and a sense that you will be well looked after.
During our second stay, March, 2012, this was futher demonstrated when I required medical attention for two lacerated fingers. Ovidio not only drove me to the clinic but stayed with me to act as my interpretor and advisor and then the same on the following day at the LosTablas hospital. Receiving medical attention in a foreign country can be intimidating but the level of care was very professional and efficient as in x-rays, a skin graft, stitches, a filled prescription and then back to the room by 5 pm. Ovidio & Koby ther thru the whole process, all beyond the call of duty for which I will always be gratefull. They even arranged nurse visits at 8pm as my high dose of antibiotics for the first few days required injections rather than oral.
My wife and I have agreed the hospitality that Ovidio & Koby have so freely demonstrated is typical of the residents of Pedasi. One of the first things Dawn and I noticed is the freindly nature of all people we encountered or were introduced to.
Maybe this review should be considered as a testimony to the excellent hospitality of Pedasi in general not just the most excellent one at Casa de Campo.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Casa de Campo in March 2012. The owners Ovidio and Koby could not have been more friendly and accomodating. The same goes for there staff, especially Judy the hostess. Our room was large, very clean, with a comfortable queen size bed. The free WiFi worked very well. Breakfast started with fresh fruit, juice and coffee. You also had a choice from the menu for the main course. The common areas are nicely decorated and designed for the breezes to flow throughout. The pool is a good size with a bar and tv just steps away. The grounds are well kept and has several large fruit trees. The hotel is just a quaint and cozy place to relax where you will receive good customer service. A welcoming change from the usual high rise chain hotels.

I wrote a review after one of our visits to Casa de Campo (we've stayed there 8 times over a 15 month period during 2010 and 2011) so I just couldn't ignore the hatchet job the folks from Palo Alto did on my friends Ovidio and Koby. We don't stay at Casa de Campo anymore as we've since bought a small home in Pedasi, but we know the place well and have first hand knowledge of all the hotels and B&B's in the area.
Casa de Campo does charge a corkage fee, but in all oour times there (and we used the bar and the fridge plent) we never paid anything and were never asked to pay anything. The rooms are huge by Pedasi B&B and hostel standards, and are more nicely furnished than any other place in town. Maybe no side chair, but, this isn't your cookie cutter Holiday Inn. The place exudes elegance and the guest rooms are appointed to match. As for breakfast, you can't find another in town that is anywhere as nice (and the one at Casa de Campo is included in the price of the room) as it always includes eggs cooked to order, choices of empanadas, local cheese, local fruits and fruit juices (always freshly squeezed by ladies in the kitchen), as well as great Panamanian coffee. Slow, well this is a quaint Panamanian town and they operate at their pace, not California iHop speed.
But, for those of you thinking of putting any weight to the opinions of SourPuss, click on their Reviews and see how many positive reviews they've posted (0 for 3 to save you the click).
Still the best place in Pedasi.
