We enjoyed our little A frame cabin for 2 days.It was very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed sitting outside and enjoying the deer and the chickens that wandered around. They had grills for every cabin so we enjoyed a BBQ one of the nights.

I am reluctant to tell others about the little gem of a campground, but we are unlikely to be able to visit again, so I will! The name "resort" is a bit deceiving as there is no pool, etc as the name would imply. What it does have is a small RV/tent campground with amazing views of the surrounding peaks... More

Had another enjoyable stay at The Roost. Stayed in a 2-bed cabin. The wifi 100 times better than it was during our last stay. This made my kids (and us) very happy after our long days of sightseeing. The kitchenette was helpful as was the full-size coffee maker and toaster. The beds are full-size and unfortunately are getting a bit... More

We stayed in the Kamper Kabin. It was very nice and clean. It has a small fridge and freezer, electricity, tv, and wi-fi. It also has two double/full size beds that were comfortable. The cabin also has a four person table inside and a table on the porch, as well as a picnic table. The bathroom/shower is across the driveway... More

I'm giving away my secrets to tell you about Roost Resort. They have the coolest cabins some with kitchenettes and a great RV park with a wonderful view of hidden valley. The cabins each have a grill and there are multiple fire pits for you to have a campfire. Our friendly host Frank has wood for three bucks a bundle.... More

Enjoyed our 4 night stay at this secluded site. We camped in our Camino trailer. Grounds are clean and grassy. Beautiful view of the hills and surrounding meadow. Clean restrooms and showers. Didn't stay in the cabins but the looked nice. Swing set for kids. Great owners and helpful too. Cebtral for visiting Rusmore, Craxy Horse, Wind Cave, and more.... More

We stayed here for 5 nights. It's a small resort with character - there are about a dozen cabins, a few camping sites, and a few RV hookups. My son and I loved the chickens that wandered around the cabins (hence the resort name...). The cabin was cute and clean - the photos give you a good idea of what... More

We starting looking for a place to stay right before beginning our trip which is not recommended! I was so happy to find good reviews of this resort AND find they had vacancy. We stayed 2 nights and very much enjoyed ourselves. Frank and his wife are really nice people and take great care of their property. We stayed in... More

Frank was very good to me and gave me a really good deal on my site when he learned I was tenting solo. There was just no good reason to leave and so I extended my planned stay of one night to four in a row. The bathroom/shower area is very clean and has a really inviting wood/log cabinish interior.... We stayed here while celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary. We could not have been happier with our cabin. Very clean and a good nights sleep. Frank and Susan went the "extra mile" to help us have a special memory. The cabin was perfect with everything you need. The area is beautiful! Very quiet, lots of wildlife very close by. Located...
