We enjoyed this campsite. It was nice and clean with a very helpful staff! We camped in a tent and our friends stayed in their camper. Both of our camping spots were great. This campsite is in an amazing location. It was very central to all the wonderful sites in and around Custer! We will definitely be back!

Took our family for a week long trip to see Custer & monuments and this "home base" was wonderful! Friendly, helpful staff were great to deal with and even added an additional night with short notice. Centrally located to Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, several parks and TONs of family fun. The only bad thing (which is not controllable) was 2... More

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay. Campground is kept very clean and had a small town feeling to it. After our 9 hour drive we discovered we left our 50 amp adapter at home. No problem they loaned us one. My kids loved all the bunnies around the park and loved the jumping pillow. I would stay here again... More

We stayed at this KOA for 2 nights this week, and we're pleased. Cabins were small, but clean; bathrooms were clean, secure, and well maintained, campground was quiet, staff was very friendly and helpful. Our kids loved the jumping pillow and the pool. Only complaint is that the cabins along the eastern edge of the campground run right along the... More

We had a great stay, staff was all very friendly and helpful, kids loved the pool, jumping pillow and baby bunnies! Could use a little more security for bathrooms at night but otherwise very "cozy" and comfortable. Very clean bathrooms and showers which is always a plus:)

Rented the one room cabin for 2 days while on vacation. Nice facilities, did not use the pool. Laundry room was clean but the dryer stole 2 quarters. Typical KOA, RVS are packed in pretty tight. Paid $75 per night, 3 guests, staff were very accommodating with late check in. Perfect location for taking in local attractions.

Camped here for three nights on our families 14 night tent camping adventure and absolutely loved this campground. Bathrooms were super clean, staff was friendly and kids had plenty of friends to play with at the playground. When we left our tent's rain fly off and were hit with a mountain thunderstorm, the ownership moved us to a cabin for... More

The front of the campground looks great with all the kids stuff, playgrounds and such. left my $50.00 sun glasses on playground equipment someone walked off with them instead of turning them into lost and found, Never got on WIFI, NO TV just 3 PBS Channels No Cable, Grass needs cutting on the side by the shed, a bunch off... Fair campsite. Nice clean bath house, great showers. Sites are tight. Very lax security. Beer bottles allowed in pool area, atv's driven by kids well after 10pm. Bad signage but willing to jump on you when going the wrong way or park facing the wrong way. Friendly but pretty invisible staff. 3 miles from town. Wifi is very weak. No... More

We are tent campers and typically look for rustic, quiet campgrounds where an RV or pop-up would never (hopefully) venture. We typically get as far away from engines, electronics, electricity and noise as possible on our trips. On this particular leg of a 3-week adventure, for a host of reasons, we made a KOA reservation. Debbie was amazing, altering our... More
