We enjoyed our stay at Big Pines Campground. Upon arrival, we were escorted to our campsite. The sites are level and well thought out. Most of the sites are full hook up. We were only about 20 feet from the Black Forest National park.

Recommended by friends who live in Custer. This is the place to call home base while staying in the area. You're not packed in like sardines, the wifi is top notch, bathrooms are spotless and most importantly the staff is the absolute best! Take a walk in the National Forest which borders the campground, enjoy the gentle breeze, listen to the pine cones fall on your camper , have a campfire and relax.

My friend and I camped here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I was impressed with the cleanliness and quiet. The amount of care and pride they take in the campground is obvious. I would stay here again and would also recommend it to others.

My wife and I camped here in July 2020 and setup our tent on site 81. The site was huge and backed up to the National forest where we enjoyed watching the deer and birds play. It was very relaxing and probably the cleanest campground I have stayed in. The bathrooms and showers were always clean and well maintained. They will deliver ice and firewood to your site and there is WiFi available to help plan your day trips. It is clear that Bill and Jen take great pride in running Big Pine and I can not wait to visit again!

What an amazing experience! We camped here for a few days in our tent on site 81 and loved every part of our time at Big Pines. The site was beautiful and backed up to the A million plus acres of beauty. We saw several deer enjoying life right out our tent window. It is a perfect place to stay and we wish we could’ve stayed longer. The owners are great to work with and keep the place well maintained. The showers and bathrooms were some of the cleanest I’ve seen while camping. Plenty of warm water and water pressure. They have a store up front that has some necessities that they will deliver to your site. There is a picnic table, fire ring, and grill on site. We look forward to coming back here next time. We highly recommend this place for tents and rvs.
