We stayed only one night but the cabin was amazing! There were 5 adults in the cabin and we payed $10 extra dollars for our dog. We had family visiting from Oregon and wanted to show them the park and monuments around. The cabin itself was beautiful. We stayed during late December so there was snow. The lodge provided us... Creekside Lodge Custer State Park: Relaxed, scenic setting in the Black Hills of S.D. Truly where “the buffalo roam and the deer and the antelope play”. Large, clean rooms. Convenient access to the Game Lodge where quality meals are served. My favorite of 8 different lodges/hotels on a 2 week journey through South Dakota and Wyoming.

We enjoyed our visit to the park but drove in at night and the sign to Creekside Lodge was totally dark so we spent a lot of time trying to locate. The room was clean and well furnished. The Wifi was very lousy/slow. The staff were very pleasant, however, and the breakfast buffet at State Game Lodge was delicious.

We reserved our room 65 days in advance and there were only two available for that two day stay. So reserve early. This was the most expensive room on our two week vacation and it was worth the price! The lodge is not very old and stands next to The Game Lodge built in the early 1900 where Presidents Coolidge... We have stayed in one of the State Game Lodges Cabins (not the lodge) in 2013 and decided to do it again in August 2015, (during the 75th Sturgis Rally). They are absolute solitude. All have a picnic table, fire-pit and a couple of lawn chair to enjoy an evening campfire. The rooms are a little tight in the cabin,... More

To be truthful we normally stay in a cabin but this year I messed up on the booking so I tried the Creekside Lodge and it ended up being a great place. If it wasnt for liking to be more to ourselves i would stay here more when we go to the rally. But all and all a great place... More

There were several lodges in the park. you can stay and enjoy the park in a variety of ways; lodge rooms, cabins, RV pads, and tent camping. The scenery is spectacular. Our lodge room was large decorates like you would expect from a nice lodge with two queen beds, the beds were comfortable, a small fridge and microwave, a large... More

This is probably one of the nicer, more modern hotels available in Custer State Park. The rooms are large, and mine had a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and a flat panel TV. Being in a room on the first floor, we also had a porch with 2 chairs and an outside door opening to the parking lot. You might wonder... More

Comfortable and serene. The room was large and well furnished. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food at the Lodge was good but the climb up the stairs was a bit much for us. The setting was spectacular.

The lodge itself is newer with a rustic feel. The rooms had fun, rustic décor as well as the lobby. My biggest issue was the fact that this lodge does not have an elevator and our room was on the second floor. This was not disclosed to us when I made the reservation. I understand that I didn't request a... More
