Beaver Lake Campground has great rates, family camping and spacious, level, shaded & open sites to suit any size RV or tent. All sites have picnic tables and fire rings, RV and cabins also has access to 26 free cable tv channels and tent sites have 10' X 12' rain shelters, mostly shaded and some with electric. Don't have a tent or RV? Then choose from our range of 8 Cabins all with a/c, heat and Cable TV or our 3 native style Tipis. We have Free DSL & Wi-Fi, Heated Pools, and playground for the kids but there is a fee for the Waterslide for all guests. We are open March 15 through November 10th and are within 30 minutes of all the natural beauty and attractions in the Black Hills of South Dakota including Mt. Rushmore! Our location is 3.5 miles west of the city of Custer on W. Highway 16. Pets are welcome at our campground as long as they don't disturb our other guests and are not aggressive. We are Good Sam, AAA, Woodalls and Best Parks of America accredited. Meet the Business Owner: Max and Cindy H. WE purchased this campground in June 2001 and have made continual improvements since that time. We live and work at the campground every day throughout the season. You will see Max on a golf cart handling maintenance issues and Cindy in the office or store helping check in customers.

There’s so much we liked about this RV Park: plenty of room between spaces, fire ring, picnic table, clean restrooms and showers, shaded with many ponderosa pine trees, fantastic fenced pet area, friendly hosts and staff, and competitively priced. The only negatives: it would

Just a quick note to say what great guys own and work at Beaver Lake. I was sent here to fill my propane tanks because it is the least expensive place in Custer. This is true but the best part was the excellent service I received from Josh? owner and the service attendant who

We stayed here for one night as a stop over on our way to Wyoming. Very nice campground and helpful staff. Showers were a nice addition. Some of the spots are a little tight for larger rvs but was fine. Would have been nice to stay longer.

We planned on staying here 1 night as we planned to see Mt. Rushmore and then on to Devils tower...well things didn’t go as planned and we ended up blowing a tire outside of Casper, WY! This put us about 5 hours behind schedule...as we waited for repairs to the Trailer I called

Anyone have pics from cabin 7??
Bunnies like this are everywhere. They are wild cottentails. I have them where I live too. They hurt nothing! They are supposed to remain wild so they don't want you petting them. They sell food to feed them which is why they hang around. Some had gotten tame enough children were trying to catch them and hold them. They discoursge this. Diseased?Nonsense! Maybe city folk just aren't use to wild animals running free.

Where's the lake?
At the far back end. It's a small lake. You can pull up a campground map and it should show it.
