Great place to wait while other family members took out a canoe... along with the dog! They were worried that he would insist on jumping into the water, but he was great! It was the two teenagers who jumped into the water. They had great fun too. When they came back to the

Four adults (2 couples) stayed 4 nights at Legion Lake Lodge in September. We had a small cabin that had a kitchenette, a double bed, another double bed with a single type bunk on top in a small bedroom. So basically, it could sleep 5. It was really nice being in the park - but

Legion Lake cabins are in a great location. We had a cabin in a very peaceful location. However, the beds are the worst. I would love to stay here again but not getting sleep for 2 days is not fun. The mattresses are very old and dip to the middle. The cabin itself was

We appreciate your review Tandom11! As mentioned at check in stay over service typically takes place between 3:00 and 5:00 pm as we must allow time for guest arrival cabins to be cleaned. However, the housekeepers are happy to clean your room while you are present. Also, our guests are free to request early service if this is necessary. We apologize that you felt that our mattresses did not provide the comfort level you are accustomed to. The majority of our mattresses have been replaced in the last year and are scheduled to be replaced by the following season. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed our location and feel you should give us another chance. Hope to see you next year.

Staff was very friendly in the restaurant/convenience store, and the food was excellent for a park restaurant. Good choices and great, peaceful patio in front of the lake. We stayed in a cabin, it was a little small but peaceful in the woods. Saw bison and deer outside our door.

Thank you for you kind review Conan990. We are very happy you were able to see some of the wildlife up close. I am sorry you felt that stay-over service was unreliable. It is possible that they were unable to enter your cabin on the day you mentioned. If you were traveling with a pet they would not have entered your cabin for safety concerns and they do not service rooms with do not disturb signs posted on the door. However, you should always feel free to call the front desk if you have any housekeeping concerns. We would have been happy to help. We hope to see you again soon!

We stayed in Cabin #2 at Legion Lake Lodge for 2 nights. It was a 5 person cabin with LakeView. The location was close to the lake (just a little walk down the hill), but far enough away where we felt privacy. The cabin was very clean and relatively spacious. The only thing I

We appreciate you taking the time to give us a review! The lake view cabins are one of the many gems of our location. We do occasionally have bison visit our cabins but they are free range animals so we are unable to control their movements. We hope next time you visit they will appear. We understand your issue with the soft beds and have began to cycle in new mattress as part of our planned renovations this coming winter. We can't wait to see you again!
