Cabin was comfortable with bedroom + 2 extra beds - there was nothing to cook with + no stove, no plates or utensils - fishing pond had no fish ( that we could find) - had to make our own meals- had small refrigerator - had dish network but hardly any channels

We arrived late and it was a little dark. The light was on as promised. The cabin was clean and the beds were the best on our trip. The surprise was in the morning when we looked behind our cabin. It was out of a book. The little pond was beautiful with the backdrop. We had to move on but... More

Thecabins were clean, roomy, perfect!!! The lake and firepit at night were so relaxing and family friendly!!! Plenty of firewood. Also a grill and picnic tables. This is a jewel of a place and we will stay here again. Lots of wildlife and friendly staff!!!!

We stay at Gold Camp Cabins every time we come to the Black Hills. We've tried other places and they just don't compare to the clean, extremely quiet setting of these cabins. Owners are very friendly and our cabins are always clean. They've added new beds and mattresses to the cabins this year as well as some updated decor. Great... More

My family and I booked cabin #5. When we arrived the key was at the cabin so we were able to go right in. The cabin had 1 bedroom with a queen bed and there were 2 more queen beds in the main room. There was a small kitchenette which included coffee. Plates, glasses, silverware were not provided but we... More

There are five quaint little cabins sited more or less next to each other with three fire pits and a seemingly little-used volleyball court to accommodate all of them. We were in one of the older cabins, and it was quite adequate in all respects--nothing fancy, mind you, but they do not advertise this as a luxury retreat. It is... More

Our family stay in the Gold Camp Cabins was wonderful. The cabins were clean, neat, and cozy. We enjoyed a break from the bustling tourists around Mt Rushmore and nearby Custer and sat around and shared a fire pit with other cabin dwellers. Our fellow travelers and my family relished the evening under a great starry night with tales, roasting... More

We had the best time at the Gold Camp Cabins! We rented #5 and it was perfect. It has 1 BR with a queen bed and 2 queen beds in the main area of the lodge. There is one bathroom w/ tub & shower (excellent water pressure!). Two TVs with Direct TV. It also has a small kitchenette (fridge &... More

Very cute little 1 bedroom cabin with a loft that had a single bed. No internet or cell service but there was a land line we gave our relatives for emergencies. Very clean! The maid came in each day to change towels and empty the garbage. It is about 4 miles west of Custer so close to all of the... More
