Hotel needs updates, but has everything you need, pool was nice and clean and food is really good. Breakfast is great. Booked at short notice, we have stayed here multiple times. We had to speak to someone in "sales" to book our room, that was different from other times. Overall our stay was nice, staff is friendly. The room was nice and clean

Due to business I had to stay in this Hotel. I had the choice of staying at a Comfort Inn or this hotel but decided on the Tropico Inn. I can only tell you that the Hotel needs major updates and specially upgrades; I really hope someone takes notes and does something about it for their own good: 1.The hotel doesn't have blackout curtains in all rooms! 2. The comforters were shiny, slippery and of very low quality 3. The floors need updating to a more modern format (size and color). 4. Air-conditioning units need servicing (my friends staying in room 222 couldn't sleep because water was dripping from the AC unit and had to put a trash can underneath). 5. Breakfast: They had a loud singer instead of quiet calm background music. The singer is good at night not for breakfast. 6. Lighting: The rooms had white led lights that made it feel cheap, dingy and "hospital like" instead of the warm led light. Nice garden and landscaping but the rooms and corridors are again "dingy". 7. Pillows hard and uncomfortable. 8. The shower floor was rusted and stained. I would recommend changing the room floors and updating the bathroom floors. On a positive note: located near the best restaurants, hospital around the corner, has a casino on site and the place I must say is very secure. I hope the comments helps future guests but most importantly, the hotel management to improve updating a good piece of property and local icon.

Just stayed at this hotel with a mission group of 25. The hotel met all our needs, w was in a good location within walking distance of several fast food places and a dollar store. The restaurant is the standout! Great breakfast buffet, beautiful decor and atmosphere and the dinner service was exceptional. Aside from the less than current room furnishings and limited towel service, this hotel made for a pleasant home base for our team.

Booked here at short notice. Cost $79 for two people for one night. The king size bed was exceptionally big and the fridge unplugged and hot. But overall not bad and a good price for a very central hotel, great parking, big rooms, great service, and really nice cocktails. Food options inside hotel and across the road. I really enjoyed the black and white cocktail bar which was super modern, chic and beautifully decorated accompanied ny really well made drinks. Oh and everyone speaks English which is not often the case in Central America.
