The Ace Hotel New Orleans garners praise for its exceptional amenities, including a rooftop pool and on-site bars and restaurants, which enhance the convenience of its location. The hotel's cleanliness and spacious rooms receive commendations, though there are occasional requests for fresh towels. Nestled in a prime spot, the hotel offers easy access to local attractions while remaining a tranquil haven. Its vibrant atmosphere, adorned with New Orleans flair and live music, captivates guests, although opinions on room maintenance and value for money show some disparity. The staff's friendliness and professionalism consistently impress, adding to the overall positive guest experience.

WARNING: OVERCHARGING HAPPENING HERE Absolutely horrific experience. Please check and ask for itemized receipts for any transactions here whether you are staying or just going to the bar. I was first overcharged at the bar they were rounding up without letting me know. When I asked about it they said it was normal policy, then I talked to a manager, and they said it was not. Then when we got our room bill, we were charged parking-we didn't have a car there or ask for parking, then we were charged double for the mini bar charges. They refunded us but then the refund deleted, and we were charged had to then call again to get the refund again. Management never called us back to discuss and we spent a few hours on all of this. Very unethical and sketchy.

Whenever I visit NOLA, I will be sure to stay at the ACE Hotel - this Jewel is awesome! The rooms were spacious and art deco and the hotel lobby had a chic vibe with a heightened buzz. During my four day stay, the staff was always very attentive and accommodating - kudos to the front desk for setting the tone with a friendly welcoming upon my arrival. The attention to detail by the staff must be a testament to the leadership of the general manager and hotel manager. Keep doing what you do because your staff is making a difference. I can't wait to return.

Miss Kiki, at reception, gave us the best of welcomes. Efficient and professional, really impressed! Staff throughout were lovely. The hotel is tired and worn with less than clean rooms... sigh. The 4* rating reflects the fabulous staff and rooftop pool. Bars and restaurants are enjoyable too.

Really friendly and helpful staff throughout our stay especially Miss Kiki at the front desk. Great roof top pool with view of the city. Super warm water and really relaxing after a long walk around the city. My one issue was the cleanliness of the floor in the room it was sticky and dirty. Otherwise good hotel and great location for the parades.

Your hotel research stops here! Book the Ace Hotel now!! We just came back from an AMAZING first trip to New Orleans to celebrate our 30th birthdays. Our biggest highlight of the trip was staying at The Ace Hotel! We were greeted by the KINDEST, most fun, friendly, uplifting staff! Karma and Trelle at the front desk and Maria the Manager went ABOVE and BEYOND to make us feel so welcome, giving us endless amounts of restaurant recommendations, activities to do, teaching us about Mardi Gras and all things New Orleans! Not only that, they surprised us with some really special moments. THANK YOU AGAIN Maria, Karma, and Trelle for starting our trip off in the best way possible and a memory we will never forget with you three!!! The Hotel itself was perfect. The interior design is so cool giving a vintage vibe. The Lovage Coffee shop is perfect for light breakfast options and really good coffee/matcha. The gym is great for a hotel gym and super clean with high end equipment. The rooftop pool was HEATED and it was awesome, such a beautiful rooftop! We were SO impressed with the room…it was super clean, we loved the vibe, the king size bed and pillows were so comfortable. There was jazz music playing as we walked into our room which really set the tone for being in New Orleans. I’m not sure if our friends at the front staff had anything to do with that but, REALLY NICE TOUCH! The Ace Hotel is located in the Warehouse District, it was a perfect walking distance to a lot of attractions and incredible restaurants. We were able to see the Mardi Gras parade a block away, we loved it! We wish we tried the restaurant at the Ace Hotel, it looked delicious, but everywhere in New Orleans has amazing food! We also loved the men’s boutique ‘Friend’ on the same street as the Ace Hotel and we bought a few items from them, definitely worth a visit! Overall 12/10 experience, we will definitely stay here again and can’t recommend it enough to everyone who visits New Orleans!!! Thank you again to our favorite hotel staff ever Maria, Karma and Trelle!!! We will be back!!!

This hotel is absolutely stunning. I stayed in large king room. It was very spacious. I loved the record player that was in the room. It gave a romantic vibe immediately upon entering. The entertainment was excellent . I learned a few Salsa moves with the instructor and live band. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect. I was able to get off interstate and go straight to it without the hustle and bustle of traffic. I definitely will be going back.

I loved everything about this hotel. It was easy to walk anywhere from here. The marsh gras parades also happened very close by. The rooms and facilities were clean and comfortable. My favorite thing was the heated rooftop pool and fire pits with a rooftop bar can’t wait to return

I and my colleagues had high expectations for this hotel being we’ve stayed at other Ace properties. Where do I begin? Well, valet was nice and welcoming, but the front desk was not. I called the front desk before arriving to see if there’s any possibility to check in early. A woman I talked to on the phone assured me that it would be a fee to check in early. Great, no problem. But when we approached the desk to check in, we weren’t acknowledged. Side conversions were exchanged as we just stood there waiting. A tall guy with glasses checked us in (forgot his name), greeted us with a “checking in” and no eye contact as if we were some sort of an inconvenience. At that moment we wanted to book another hotel stay with much better customer service because we did not receive the “new orleans” experience everyone brags on. During our check in, asking questions even seemed like a burden. After receiving the answers to our questions, our keys weren’t even handed to us. He slid them to us on the desk as if he was mad at us about something. When we entered our room, we noticed one of the beds had no pillows. We called front desk and told them we needed pillows. I could hear laughter at the desk and maybe that’s why we received sheets instead of the pillows we asked for. I asked for a manager on duty and it was the guy that checked us in. I didn’t want to talk to him because of the way we were checked in so I didn’t bother to verbalize the issues as I would at other hotels with much better customer service. Our experience was so deplorable, the only time we came to the hotel was to go to bed. I’m quite appalled at the lack of professionalism and enthusiasm that’s usually executed professionally at other hotels and the fact that I’m familiar with who the co partner and ceo of the ACE Hotel group, I’m quite sure he would be quite disappointed with our experience and the pictures I’ve taken of the playful acts of the front desk. We were so embarrassed, we had to meet with a very important client at the Virgin Hotel across the street instead of the hotel we booked to stay. Surely, we will not recommend staying at this hotel at all.

I am writing this review related to poor customer service at the Ace Hotel New Orleans. We were part of a wedding party and I made arrangements for several rooms for our vendors and a suite for the groomsmen to stay at the hotel. Despite speaking with several staff members over the course of making arrangements , not once was it relayed to me that for the wedding day suite for the groomsmen, a press pass is needed for photos. I don't have a problem with following rules and would have gladly done so if advised, but the way the staff responded on the day of the event was horrible and very unprofessional. The weekend was spectacular and we had guests at two other hotel establishments and the services there were wonderful. Basically, they kicked the groomsmen out in spite of having a reserved suite. Do not recommend this establishment and especially if you can neve recapture a special moment.

It's a beautiful hotel in a great location with fabulous staff. So why the one star? Because in a hotel, it's all for nothing if you can't sleep. It's nearly 2am and I'm on the 5th floor wearing earplugs. The walls are thumping with the beat and the air is thick with the screeching of some DJ on the ground floor. To take money from customers who pay to sleep in an establishment while running a nightclub in the same establishment that makes sleep impossible is unconscionable. Beautiful place but avoid if you want to sleep.

Hi Connavx, Thank you for taking a moment to share your experience about our hotel and krewe. I truly believe we work with the most special folks in New Orleans. However, I do understand that our nightlife costume change/ music venues are not for everyone. We do our best to advertise our unique events here and the good noise nightly. If you ever give us a chance again, we have higher floors facing the opposite side of the venues where you can get those deep Z's in.- Maria, Hotel Manager
