We were graciously upgraded to a junior suite. Celebrating my daughters 25th birthday, we were beyond grateful with room 225. 77 was our nightlight. Stay here and you will know what we mean. Wonderful, huge, funky room. Nothing foo foo about this hotel. Nothing pretentious. Thank you to the lovely woman at desk who checked us in late on Feb....

This is my fiancé and I 2nd time here at this hotel. When we 1st visited they were doing renovation. We had to come back to see the new outcome. We will definitely make this our go-to hotel for Mardi Gras season. It's right on the parade path and parking is easy to find if you don't use valet. The...

Great location, nice big rooms and the beds were very comfortable, nice brick accent wall. The bathroom was small but the room was very large. Very convenient location and an extra bonus was the parades pass by at the end. You also can see the working of the clean-up crews and that's legend in NO. Fun, hip place to stay.

From beginning to end loved staying at this hotel. Boutique style hotel so it's more intimate in feel. Floors were a bit squeaky (wooden) and bath was a bit small but overall loved the look and feel. The restaurant was incredible. Staff delightful.

Rooms were very nicely decorated. Lobby and restaurant are a very nice place to sit and work and have a drink at the same time. Easy walking distance to conference centre. Really helpful and courteous staff at the desk and the valet service. I would definitely stay again if in New Orleans for work or pleasure.

Every was great with the exception of Mary at the Front Desk. Who was extremely rude and didn't have the time to answer simple questions. Thanks Mary. Killed my happy buzz before I even got to New Orleans. Hotel is located at a prime spot. Staff was awesome with the exception of Mary. Didn't care for the rooms. Felt like...

Was just there for Carnivale and hotel was close to the action. Everyone working there from doorman, front desk, and bar was helpful and friendly. The bed was sooooo comfy! So great staying in a non chain establishment.

Fun place to stay and very convenient. Loved that I could skip on housekeeping and get something fun in exchange from the honest bar. Didn't check out food offerings but they certainly looked good and will next time. Vintage feel with a spooky but friendly guest who liked to turn on lights in the night.

Very stylish room and clean. good location, however I wish my room was away from the hall way since I had to go sleep early to catch my flight the next day and it was kinda noise when I was trying to sleep early

A very nice place to stay. Close to some great restaurants and not in the middle of the French Quarter. The bar makes great drinks. The food in the restaurant was good. I will definitely stay here again.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
