The only star is for the doormen. They are so polite that if it wasn't for them, this place would get no stars. When you check into a hotel, you think you would feel welcome but it's the complete opposite. Check in very rude and...More
Vintage building with exposed brick walls. Very cozy and quirky. Staff were all super friendly and accommodating. Great food at the restaurant. Great location that was within easy walking distance to most of the attractions of the Quarter, CBD, and even Uptown.

Thank you so much for the great feedback. We love hearing how friendly our staff was and that you enjoyed your stay with us. We hope to see you again next time you are in New Orleans.
Stayed here for the New Orleans Bowl. From day one early in the morning, Ray and Melvin welcomed me and immediately made me feel at home. They were able to answer all of my questions. During the check-in, Mary was courteous and professional. When it...More
Good: Let me start with the hotel lobby and restaurant look just like the pictures. Front desk staff was nice at check in, and helpful with recommendations. The rooms are decent, brick walls were a nice touch

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts
District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
