Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.

To be honest I wasn't expecting much because of the $89.00 plus tax for the room. But I was very surprised at how clean the Hotel was. Michael at the front desk was awesome !! Very nice !!! The carpets in the hallway's were clean , elevators were clean and the rooms although on the small side were VERY clean. And I'm a Germaphobe . And the bed's were very comfortable. Couldn't of been happier. Plus you are just 2 blocks away from all the action. GREAT location. You can use their valet service for $39.00 plus tax , but we just parked in the lot across the street for $27.00 . And the free breakfast in the morning was awesome. Egg's, sausage , seasoned potatoes , waffles , fruit , muffins , they had plenty of fresh hot and cold food . And even toasters for your bagels and toast. I will definitely be staying here again when I visit New Orleans.

Good location, but not being clear about the parking! You finish paying around $40 more to have your car park. In the website never made reference to be a valet parking option. Walking distance to important landmark.

I had left an item in my hotel room and immediately notified the staff via phone. Three times I had called and tried to leave message for housekeeping but the voicemail was full. So I also notified the front desk twice and they took 2 messages for me. The first one was because the inbox was full. The second one was because they had promised me a phone call the next morning about whether or not they had found my items. They never called me back. I called a third time and was told they had not searched the room at all. How lazy is that? Is it that hard to go up an elevator to check? So I told them to give me a call in one hour, as I needed my items shipped back to me as soon as possible. They checked the room and found my items...it took more than 24 hours just to check the room one minute away via elevator? Geez. That's lazy and very inconsiderate. They told me to send a shipping label. I sent the label four days later via email. I didn't get a response until I called the next day and left a message. The GM called and said the items will be sent. I check the status of my package the next day and find no proof that the package was sent. I called the hotel and th GM was unavailable but told the front desk that my package was sent that morning. I had waited for my package all weekend and was supposed to arrive at my house on a Saturday with my 2-day shipping label I sent them, which costed me $19.95. Again, my tracking number showed that the package was not sent. So now it's a Monday afternoon and still my package containing my expensive items has not arrived. My tracking history still shows the package was not shipped. Concerned, I called the hotel and explained that I have not received the package still, even with 2-day shipping, and USPS shows the package did not ship. With a defensive attitude, the GM stated that my package was sent the same day she spoke to me. I did not like or appreciate her mannerism. The room was clean and neat. The front desk staff and continental breakfast staff were great. I will not stay here again or put up with attitude after all I paid for just to stay at this hotel. I will gladly take my business elsewhere.

I loved being only two short blocks from the French Quarter. I received great advice from all of the concierges that I talked with. I was great to have a bar on site for a nightcap. I didn't have a pet with me, but I enjoyed seeing all of the pets staying at the hotel.
