The staff were extremely helpful. The fresh croissants and juice delivered to our room each morning was a nice perk. It was an easy five minute walk to the start of bourbon street and the conference I was attending.

Beautiful, clean, hotel hosted by a friendly professional staff. Wonderful croissants with beverages for morning. Great shower and comfortable beds. Within walking distance to everything New Orleans has to offer using trolleys or city busses.

Outstanding customer care, from the checkin to checkout, one of the best hotel we have ever been - very clean, good beds and bed sheets, with a pleasant breakfast, etc, etc, etc... We got a room with a quite good balcony, where we have taste a lot of wines and shared appetizers (in room)... the location is near from everything,...

This is a great little hotel in a great location, especially if you enjoy historic structures. We enjoyed the helpfulness of the staff. They were great! This really beats staying in one of the large chain hotels.

The second shift reciptionist need to work on her attitude, The check in desk is not a good design. It is trashy looking. We were not impressed with the changes. You would think the would have a better idea.

I loved the fact the floors were hardwood. The hotel is extremely charming but what made my experience so memorable is the staff. They were incredible; the service, and helpfulness was amongst the best I've ever had.

The concierge didn't explain parking very well; consequently, we had to haul our bags 7-10 blocks. The breakfast (during Mardi Gras, at least) was pretty much nonexistent. Croissants, coffee, juice, and butter or jam. Those and price are my only real complaints. Ok otherwise.

Staff were awesome and the hotel was amazing. We would definitely go back and stay again. Short walk to great restaurants and to bourbon street! The front desk ladies were so fun to work with and had us laughing the minute we walked in.

This hotel was a great deal and I don't think there is a better location available for the trip that I was on. In the heart of the ACTION. Staff was very courteous and helpful for local points of interest and good food spots.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
