I asked that I not be charged and she told me that I would have to pay the one night room rate because I am canceling within 72hrs... I made the reservation within an hour of all this happening and was only canceling because of the horrible smell of their rooms... My intention was to relax and enjoy the memories I had of him in the city but also to relax in the room... There was no way I could have relaxed in that room with the way it smelt, just being in it for a few seconds I felt sick...

Myself and my partner stayed at Hotel Mazarin for a week... Unfortunately a couple of things really let our stay down... We stayed in a Deluxe King which advertised an ‘outdoor view’... While the room was a decent size and had some lovely touches like a mini fridge and robes, the room was not to the standard I’d expect from a deluxe room... Our biggest issue was the fact that during our 7 night stay, our room was visited by housekeeping personnel twice...

The rooms smelled HORRIBLY of mildew... Every time we walked into our room we were grossed out by the smell... We traveled with friends that had also been moved to the Mazarin and their room also reeked of mildew... Our room was filthy upon arrival...

We arrived to our room it smelt musty... We weren’t in the room much of our 3 night stay... We thought we would have breakfast and hang out in the room until time to leave at 11:15 we had to leave the mold smell was so bad... Had a severe mold reaction from the air in the room for the next 2 days when returning home...

Not worth the money…..Though the hotel was right off Bourbon street, the accommodations were terrible... Adding to it, the hotel was lack-luster….not worth the money at all... I could have stayed at the Sheraton four points on Bourbon with a balcony view for literally $100 more, total...

...It is not vey plush or fancy but a good value for the money. We could have paid $0/night more across the street at the Sonesta but decided to spend the savings on eating out at the fine dining close by...

...Food seemed reasonably priced although we didn't eat here...

A trip back down to the front desk because still no phone and now they move me... They move me to a much smaller room and hand me two drink tickets...
