The staff at Hotel Mazarin go above and beyond to be AMAZING. We had a few events catered and all of the meals were totally on point- both locally flavored and great quality. Don't forget to sign up for their loyalty program, Stash Rewards!

The hotel was beautiful and exactly where we wanted to be. It was convenient to everything. I am sensitive to noise and we had read that we should request courtyard facing rather than street facing to avoid noise. We did so and the noise never bothered us. The included breakfast was good. I ate a lot of bacon. The hotel...

Hotel Mazarin is a perfect balance - located close to the middle of all the activity of the French Quarter ,but slightly away from noise and hubbub which makes for a quiet and restful night's sleep. Breakfast is buffet-format - a step above most hotel breakfast buffets. The standard rooms are small which is ok if you plan on spend...

My husband and I stayed here during a parade weekend. There was also an NBA all star game and a huge comedy show that same weekend. Despite being incredibly busy, every single person was polite and friendly. The service was top notch and the location is close to everything.

A simply beautiful hotel. So convenient to Bourbon Street and amazingly quiet. The staff was so kind and charming. Divine breakfast every morning, comfortable beds, decent size rooms. I loved the courtyard. How nice to walk out of the room and hear birds singing. Wonderful experience.

I enjoyed my stay there. It is well located in the French Quarter. It has a great courtyard. The room was large and clean. The breakfasts were fine. The staff was fine. Good small bar is attached to the hotel. If i am back in New Orleans and the price is decent I would definitely stay there again.

Stayed for a conference and the hotel had wonderful and friendly staff, excellent foodn and was exceptionally clean. Just off Bourbon Street, it was in the heart of the Quarter with out the noise of the main drag. I would not hesitate to stay again or recommend it it others.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
