French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.

I would stay again. It was a little loud outside, foot traffic was pronounced inside the room. If you sleep in late, take this under consideration. WiFi connection was not that great at all, not really useable.

The hotel was beautiful and you could see the history of the place in the architecture. Everything was gorgeous from the marble floors to the amazing shower! The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable as well. Also, the breakfast was very high quality!

Great location, great staff and quality accommodations steps from Bourbon street. Surprisingly quiet as well. Perfect hotel for our trip. We were able to experience New Orleans, get great food and still sleep at night.

You are correct, no bath - but our room had a nice walk in shower. The location was fantastic, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and we loved the breakfast (both the food and the setting) and the wonderful live music and classic cocktails at the 21st Amendment bar at the hotel. We would definitely stay there again.

We do not have laundry services on site but we do offer weekday laundry pickup. There are bags and tickets in guest room closets. Laundry is due by 9 am and will return by end of the same day.

Construction was not an issue at all by the hotel when we stayed in May. Construction on Bourbon was a thing when we were there, but did not negatively affect my experience. Good choice on Hotel Mazarin, it was easily one of the best decisions I’ve made on accommodations. Enjoy your trip!
