We had a late flight in and no problem with late check in. Reception staff are amazing. Very friendly and accomodating. We had a balcony view room on the 3rd floor overlooking the Royal Sonesta. Large closet but not a lot of drawer space if you were there more than 2 or 3 days. Beautiful courtyard. There is a Starbucks 2 blocks away on Canal St. and a wine store as well. Right in the heart of Bourbon St. Patick's Wine Bar hadn't reopened yet, so a little disappointed there, but we would definitley stay here again for location and the staff.

I was very disappointed with our stay. When we arrived in our room it was obvious that it wasn't clean. There were towels left in both the shower and on the floor of the bathroom, urine stains around the toilet, the in-room safe was not functioning, and the door lock was broken. Although the floors seemed clean, the bottoms of my feet after walking on the floor after a shower were black from the tile. So gross. After traveling all day, we were up all night due to the loud noises. The hotel is right off Bourbon Street and we could hear everything all night long. Once Bourbon Street closed up (11 p.m. due to curfew) a huge crowd of people migrated into the courtyard where they continued the party for several more hours. I would not recommend this hotel.

I’m very picky when it comes to hotels. They need to have a select few things before I’ll consider them. Good showers, a super comfy bed, and spotlessly cleaned. Hotel Mazarin exceeded these expectations. The room was very clean and other than smelling a little old (well because it’s an old building), I was excited to spend a few nights here. My first night, I slept like an absolute rock. The location of this hotel is amazing. Right by bourbon street but also tucked away in a quiet area. There are tons of awesome restaurants nearby. And if you forgot things you need, there’s a Walgreens a block away. There’s a fridge but no microwave, but that’s alright. Pierre at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again for sure!

Nice hotel overall, excellent location. Lovely outdoor courtyard for relaxing after a long day. For the price, I thought the room would be a little nicer and the lobby area a little fancier but it was fine. Loved the citrus infused water that was offered in the lobby.

My family and I stayed here during Spring Break of 2020. Check in was effortless, first impression of the room was nice. I did the Hotel Impossible inspection of the room and found excessive dust on the vent in the room. Otherwise the room was very nice. The courtyard was very nice and we had breakfast there twice which had been comped by management. The breakfast attendant; Aleana was phenomenal and made our whole experience enjoyable. Given the current health situation, we decided to leave early. I were definitely stay here again, as the location is great.
