My wife and I stayed here for our 20th Anniversary. It is located in the middle of the French Quarter. We were 1 block from Bourbon St and 3 blocks from Canal St. The parking is $42/day and is valet only. We had to park our own car one night and it was crazy in that parking garage. Staff was friendly and nice. Knowledgeable about when and where to go at what times. The security guard on site helped with price of mind. Room was clean and the AC worked great. Hall ways were well lit and clean. We will stay here again if we come back to New Orleans. We didn’t find out until the 2nd to last day about the trolley service that runs the entire city. Very very affordable, $1.50 per ride or $3 for 24 hours per person. A week was $15 per person and you can ride it as many times as you want.

This hotel is just as lovely as the pictures you see on its site. The staff are friendly; the rooms are spacious and quiet, despite being in the heart of the French Quarter. Patrick's Bar Vin and the 21st Amendment bar are great places to have a drink, with wonderful atmosphere. Breakfast in the restaurant was delicious. Perfect location, charming décor, terrific people. Will stay there again.

Room service is awful and went through our belongings and didn't clean the room. When we complained to the front desk they said a manager would call no one ever called. Awful customer service they do not care if you have a good stay. Also the courtyard of the hotel is loud at all ours of the night.

Easy check in process. Booked through a 3rd party (CC portal). Room was ready a bit early. Staff was very responsive with any requests. The garden area is well maintained and industrial fans used to keep the area cool. Centrally located so 10 min walk to Jackson Brewery and 3 minute walk to Canal.

Lovely hotel right in the heart of the French Quarter. Comfortable bed, nice bath, tile floors. Very clean. Nice, knowledgeable staff. Courtyard is very relaxing and two bars on site. There is a restaurant that serves breakfast. Downside is proximity to Bourbon Street means rooms can be very noisy at night. Ask for something high up or toward the back, but even then there definitely is street noise. If you are a light sleeper location might not be the best.

Stayed this past weekend and was shocked at the high reviews this place received. We booked a king room and were given a room with 2 beds that were larger than a twin, but smaller than a queen. Other than that the room was acceptable. I brought this to the front desks attention and they switched us to a king room. We walk over to the king room and it was filthy, small, and had a foul smell. The air vent had a tremendous amount of dust on it. I head back to the front desk, and they offered the original room with the small beds, which we accepted. The hotel is run down, and filthy. The general manager of the property is clearly not doing their job. The area rug in the lobby looks like it was picked from a Bourbon Street dumpster. The elevators were completely disgusting. The courtyard is covered by a tarp that was an eyesore. The property has a great location and the staff was pleasant. But if this was my property, a new GM would be a top priority. Either the cleaning staff is short handed or they need to be retrained. A picture is worth a thousand words, but honestly, you just need one word "AVOID"

Just returned from a 40 night stay here (felt like 4 months). I requested a quiet room facing the courtyard since I was there for a conference. I have stayed in a dozen NOLA hotels but this was the noisiest hotels I've ever stayed in my life. A window room on Bourbon would have been quieter. The management allows guests (and anyone) to party in the courtyard underneath the guest rooms until past 11 pm. Sound travels straight up to the rooms. The courtyard heavy metal chairs on being dragged around at night and early morning is incredibly loud. I would call the desk, they would say they'd ask people to keep it down, but it was insane every single night. I would not wish this hotel on my worst enemy. I have zero idea where these great reviews come from, seriously suspect. The hotel is faded, dingy, several of the front desk staff members are incredibly rude and dismissive (especially William, who obviously hates his job, and has no understanding of hospitality in general). This hotel needs new management (or any management) in the worst way, and a face-lift. Awful experience and such a let-down. Stay anywhere else.

This hotel is fairly affordable for the French quarter and has a very convenient location. The shower is amazing and beds are comfortable. If I were to book here again, I would bring my Vornado fan- our AC was not great. It was also pretty hot out and we are from freezing MA, so there's that. The hotel was responsive to our complaint and had someone look at it right away. They determined the unit was functioning properly. The hotel staff did offer to change our room, and were able to find us a fan when we requested that instead. Overall great stay, helpful staff, good value. Thanks Hotel Mazarin!

We stayed for four nights in this charming hotel. Well maintained and staffed by helpful employees, we enjoyed our room with its tall ceilings, chandelier, perfect air conditioned temperature, and good shower. The beautiful courtyard is a big asset, a great place to find refuge from the heat after strolling around the Quarter.
