Great location, right off Bourbon street, but without the noise, smell and crowd of Bourbon! Very friendly, knowledgeable staff, very efficient. Great buffet breakfast that changes the main meals daily to keep it new. Room was spacious, clean and quiet. Our room faced an alleyway but honestly, we weren't there long enough to look out the window much. The AC... More

Little hesitant when we arrived as the valet was not helpful in the least. Check-in went smoothly, though. No concierge on duty to confer with, however. Went to room and it was quite beautiful. Loved the lovely courtyard area for breakfast, the breakfast food was excellent. Overall a very nice experience and I would stay there again.

This is a quality boutique hotel offering excellent accommodations and exceptional staff. The 21 Amendment is an enjoyable plus particularly their live entertainment. The hotel experience itself helped to make my visit to New Orleans a pleasure.

This hotel was perfect and beautiful. Rooms were clean, staff friendly. It was close enough to walk to Bourbon St and other drinking establishments, but far enough from the noise to feel as though you were in a remote countryside hotel rather than the French Quarter. I will definitely be staying here again.

This place is amazing and close to everything in downtown new Orleans. The wife and I had a wonderful stay. Anyone wanting to visit new Orleans should stay here. It is close to the super dome and bourbon street. Great eats right down the street. Great food and atmosphere.

Great stay! I was surprised to experience such great service and the breakfast was the best. Especially for the price I paid much more reasonable than other hotels in the same area. I accompanied my husband on a business trip and we enjoyed the romantic ambience of the hotel.

Second stay at this hotel. Great location. Can't beat breakfast on the patio, an oasis only a half block from Bourbon street . Room was very clean and desk staff helpful with an issue that I had at the business center. Will continue to be my preferred hotel in New Orleans.

My husband and I stayed here for four nights. The room was beautifully appointed; the location of the hotel was within walking distance of the French Market, the waterfront, and the aquarium, and although it was around the corner from Bourbon Street, it was our choice whether to be a part of that scene or not. The front desk staff... More

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
