The service was impeccable. My room was spotless and I really loved the turndownservice. The front desk staff was very friendly as well as the door attendants. It’s just outside the French quarter as other reviewers have mentioned and super quiet. The bed was very comfortable. I loved the bath products and bathtub. I also appreciate how great the housekeeping staff was with getting me ice as well as helping me with laundry-crawfish boil incident. :) Could not recommend them enough.
We had the best experience of any hotel we stayed and we have stayed all over the world. Be prepared to have the time of your life with the most fantastic staff and amenities along with a restful sleep. Thank you so much to the management and staff. 5 stars *****
I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The service is what sets this place apart, in my onion. Stayed here 4 nights last week and from the minute we got out of our car, the folks working here were incredible at making us feel like welcome guests. From Dontrell at check-in (so warm and welcoming and charismatic!), to Leah at concierge (so fun to talk to and helpful), to Tristan at the Polo Lounge (never met a more friendly, professional bar manager), we were treated like royalty and never wanted to leave. We were upgraded to a larger king suite which was a wonderful bonus. The rooms are a bit worn (water marks on walls, closet doors didn't quite close tight), but we happily overlooked all of that because the quality of the rooms and fixtures still showed through. Bed was super comfy, towels so plush, and furniture solid and luxurious. The housekeeping was outstanding - extremely meticulous, and the turn down service was impeccable - and I am very picky about that kind of stuff. Door staff / bellhops were fabulous. Clearly, the training at this hotel is absolutely top-notch. We cannot wait to be back!!!…
I researched a lot of hotel options for our trip to New Orleans. I selected this one since it was within walking distance of the French Quarter and had the New Orleans character. After seeing my other options in person, I'm so glad I selected this hotel. It is beautiful!! The service is excellent--someone always holds the door open for you when you enter or exit the hotel. At the pool, someone always was there to assist you with towels or drinks. The pool was also really pretty and quite large for a city location. Our room had an incredible view of the city and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony at night. I liked how there were complimentary bottled waters in the room, by the pool, and in the fitness room which was really convenient. There were also gorgeous flowers in the lobby, outside the hotel, and by the pool. You can easily walk (and we did) to the French Quarter, World War II museum, trolly, and surrounding restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting New Orleans!…
Great hotel - just outside the French Quarter, so walkable but not in the middle of it. Nicer and better staff and service than the Ritz Carlton, which is probably the closest comparison (I haven't stayed at the Four Seasons, but have stayed at the RC).
I have been to NOLA many many times, and how this place never came up is a mystery, spacious clean suites, exemplary staff, great food, great public areas. I attended several meetings while there, the food was excellent and the service better, every staff member I came into contact with had a positive attitude, what a refreshing change that was from the poor customer service in so many other establishments in this day and time! Can't wait to go back!
I have stayed here before and was really transported to another time. Post pandemic, like the entire service industry, they are coming up to speed again and everyone has to keep that in mind. Still incredibly courteous, beautifully appointed rooms, attentive room service, old world bar/lounge, and great location.
It is hard to imagine that more highly rated hotels in New Orleans are in fact better. This is one of the nicest large hotels you will ever stay in. The rooms are largely well appointed, spacious suites. The beds, linens and towels are first rate. We only had breakfast, but it was quite nice, and as you would expect from a five star hotel, they let us go off menu. The service was universally excellent, with Southern kindness thrown in. Housekeeping services have returned to pre Covid levels, which is wonderful. All in all, a great stay.
I have been to the Windsor Court Hotel many times over the past decade. I recently returned from a stay there and felt compelled to write a review. The service at this hotel is simply extraordinary. Before arriving, I was fortunate to speak with Lisa and Leah at the Concierge Desk. They could not be more helpful in assisting me with reservations and guiding me to a lot of great local sites to visit. They followed up each time with a phone call or e-mail and when I arrived my itinerary was waiting for me. The doormen were outstanding. Ross and the others were super helpful in arranging car service whenever we needed it, even when the city was very busy due to an event there. The others that made an extra effort were Jonathan (Gril Room Manager - able to get us food after the bar had closed); Brennan (spa manager who set up appointments in advance and gave good suggestions regarding the type of services offered); Tristen (helped our group with food/drinks late in the evening); Jason (food and beverage manager at the bar - took the time to arrange a private space for my group to dine/drink - made sure every detail was taken care of, including calling me on his night off to make sure things were going smoothly); Jasmine (front desk - adapted when reservations changed to accommodate each guest). The two who deserve even more recognition are Ashley (events manage) and Megan (sales manager) and Rosalind. Ashley and Megan worked with me for months before my group arrive and extensively during my time at the hotel to make sure everything was going well. They called me on their days off, responded to e-mails quickly, put me in touch with persons at the hotel when needed, and took the time to make everyone in my group feel that they were a special, important hotel guest. They did this, as did all of the personnel we came into contact with, in a genuine way - with smiles on their faces and a great attitude. There are so many hotel options these days. What separates the Windsor Court Hotel is not just the amenities (wonderful rooms, spa, bar and dining options), it's the personal attention paid to each guest to make them feel recognized and welcome.…
A truly lovely hotel! The room was very clean. We enjoyed the nightly turn down service and the espresso machine in the room. The swimming pool was heated which is probably not needed in the summer, but was very nice in the cool Spring weather. The location was convenient to the French Quarter but also to get to the National WWII Museum which was on our "to do" list. A great place to stay in the Big Easy!
